I finally stopped THINKING about doing something and did it. It is frustrating, but also rewarding. Patience for success, overcoming fear of judgement or failure, doing a little each day, and realising lack of perfection is ok, are the things that have helped me the most.

It's really interesting and fascinating how you take INFPs seriously (most people don't), and try to see things from their perspective with enough respect and a subtle butt-whipping. Kudos~

Unfortunately INFP weaknesses are a hindrance to professional development for the generally more respected careers. And living off of part times these days isn't seen as professional as many employers seem to find it as a lack of commitment/desperation/something being wrong with the person. Being an INFP is terrible if you ever expect to be independent or earn money in this society lol

"It's funny how often being misunderstood is synonymous with never actually communicating your thoughts and feelings with people" 😂 Why you gotta call us INxxs out like that

You're 100% right, a full-time job doesn't suit INFPs. My personal experience suggests that I start to feel trapped overtime (probably, several months into a job), this is why I now work half-time and feel pretty happy about it.

I’ve noticed infp appreciates when I (as an intj) provide structure to aspirations, creative work, and achieving goals set by ideals. There is a wealth of insight and inventiveness, but expression becomes scattered or bogged down in details, so having someone to help arrange that expression into a cohesive whole seems to provide relief and freedom to act for infp. Must admit, I have a huge soft spot for ‘em. 🤫

Yeah seemingly we are the worst fit or candidates for the corporate world. The business environment we have today requires one to be ambitious, obedient, hardworking, logical, dedicated, strong etc. You have to fall thousands of times, get criticized, sacrifice a lot of time, from yourself and hobbies, from your friends. INFP's are quite sensitive, they do not like to be controlled at all, they do not like strict deadlines, rigid atmospheres and above all they look for meaning in what they do. So if what they do in that company or position is not in alignment with their values and world view, this can be a torture for the INFP. However, I as an INFP, really think and have seen that just like any other personality, these are qualities that we can change. What is important is being conscious and in peace of who we are and think about how to manage ourselves, our emotions and our inclinations. An ordinary INFP with no sense or desire of achieving something in this life in terms of career etc, is very likely to have nothing, not even something related to his/her hobbies. On the other hand, an INFP can easily start to be aware of their weaknesses or shortcomings and work through them and achieve the things they desire and deserve, and above all can achieve the highest self-confidence too which most INFP's need as well in my opinion.

Just over one minute in and I'm already feeling attacked. (But in a good way? It's nice knowing I'm not the only one struggling with stuff like this)

We INFP's at some point need to figure how to work in this world in a way that is best for us. It's not always easy, but it's possible with hard work and dedication. I have come to realization I will never have a career in the corporate world or blue collar world. Yeah, I can work in it, but I need something more. There are very beneficial parts being in a corporate environment we INFP's need. Structure, dedication, learning to fail and get back up again, learning to take critiques and not let it destroy us and learning how to speak up with confidence. We can take those things and use them in our daily lives and build our own creative businesses.
