The way they look at each other is not very lustful compared to the other couple, it’s just pure love and adoration. The lead actors did a wonderful job with the characters.

I think what George’s condition back then is was what we know today as schizophrenia. And then the dementia set in as he got older. In those times there was no cure or effective ways to treat and control it. It’s sad because you could see that he wanted help and truly loved Charlotte! My daughter is a big fan of this show and Bridgerton. I’ve watched certain scenes in both series, but this one is a bona fide tear jerker! The young George and Charlotte characters are outstanding! The scene where they met in the garden on their wedding day was my absolute favorite!
