Did you just use ambient light or did you light this? Also if you could please tell us much did you charged your client for this, it would help out some of us who do lower budget projects like this?

Are you trading in your canon 100mm for a rokinon? Also, do you have site where you show your clients your work? Or do you direct them to your youtube/send them private links?

I’ve already sold my Canon 100mm and ended up getting a cheaper Rokinon 100mm just because I need a manual focusing lens. For client work, i’m hired by different companies.

Why did you use such a high Shutter speed in such a high ISO in 24fps? was not better to put 1/50 SP and lower your iso ? Just curious

Hmm. Well if you’re talking about the 180 rule, then 1/50 is for 24p. I shot in mostly 120fps, so that means double my shutter would be at 1/240th. Increase the frames, increase the shutter.

Oh and increase the shutter, then you need to increase the iso.

ohh yes, i assumed that 24P was 24fps like in mine a6500...i miss the 120fps in the left corner. My bad :D

If you're doing the same amount of work, why would it matter what gear you use?

Equipment matters to me. Bigger cameras require bigger pieces of equipment to move it. There’s no way I could get dynamic moves with my Ursa Mini on a small table. I would need a tripod and curved dolly track. A linear slide would be need a bigger slider. Then there’s lighting. Do you need a lot of creative lighting or minimal lighting? It’s about the difference in how much easier it would be shooting with a 2lb camera vs a 13lb camera, and what equipment I would show up with. So to your comment ‘same amount of work’, is not relevant. It takes a whole lot less work to create dynamic camera movements with a small camera on a table dolly than to move an Ursa Mini that shoots 4.6K RAW (best quality). The client takes a hit on quality, but whatever is in their budget.

MrCheesyCam ok, I see what you're saying there.. that totally makes sense. I did something similar with a music video, where I told the client if they wanted certain shots it would cost more because I'd have to lug around a ton more gear.
