Low Cost Chicken Run & Coop Under $100

Күн бұрынBuilding a chicken run and coop for under $100 here in my farm I. The Andes Mountains of Ecuador. $41 for the wood, $25 for the black nylon mesh, $2 for the staples… and the roofing material is recycled from the first roof on my house. Did I say under $100? Looks like it’s coming in under $70.

Put a top on it if you have hawks or other lager birds I’m area hawks got a few from my friends house

Yeah, I was just talking to my neighbor about that. He lets his chickens free range around his farm and hasn’t lost any to hawks. He did suggest I might need more protection from dogs because there are a couple in the area that will go after chickens.

The only downside I see is that less bugs will be able to get in there for your chickens to eat.

When I’m there, I’ll let them roam the farm and hunt for insects, this is just for days when I’m not on the farm.
