Hi, yes if you have an open circuit at the sensor terminals then you may have to replace the thermistor I did a video of this, testing the the new thermistor and fitting it, it is quite easy to do .. I didn't add in the video here, but when I added the new wire in this video the old ground wire came away quite easily from the rear of the plug so it may have been hanging on just buy the insulation and not making a contact , so check the wires in the back of the connectors very carefully .. @@myturkishlife1777 cheers mate, I sought it out. The thermistor wires were loose. Both ends. Soldered it back together and it's working again!

Hi, I'm not sure which connector you mean, have you traced it on the wiring diagram... The only ones in the under tank area seem to be for fuel level light,fuel pump and throttle sensor.. If I get a chance I will have a look at the bike tomorrow.. Cheers 👍

Düşük yakıt sensörüne 12 volt verdim ama toprak yok yeni bir topraklama kablosu yaptım. direnciniz olup olmadığını görmek için önce yakıt sensörünüzü kontrol edin I had a broken ground wire, just check you have resistance by measuring across the low fuel sensor. It maybe a same system on your bike but I am not sure. In the video I just made a new ground wire to the frame. Also check you have 12v going to the plug to the sensor. Marc

Hi, yes I'm sure it would if it uses the low fuel sensor, I did notice though when I looked closer at the green plug the wire on the back was very thin and was maybe only attached by the insulation, just check closely on the back of the plug and socket to make sure you have a good connection too the terminals .. Hi, this ticking from the fuel pump should stop when it is up to pressure, when you turn on the ignition the pump will "prime" tick a few times then stop, if the pump is continuing to tick either the pump is faulty and it is not pumping just moving or the float needles in the carburettors are open and not shutting off the fuel, if this is the case be careful because you may be pumping fuel into the engine, just have a look at the engine oil level see if it is over full if so it maybe fuel in the oil, and you will have to inspect the float needles in the carbs or better still get a carb rebuild kit it will come with new needles and seats..
