Cool haha i am a nitwit with these kinds of jobs, in my mind i get it, but performing :) :), but i will manage with help of a dear friend, i bought the Elite also, for replacement of my old Lowrance.

What fuse did you use. I just got the 9" Ti2 and it came with a 3amp and a 5amp fuse but the manual says to use a 7amp @ 12v.

Hello Will, Thank You very much for this really useful video. I need to mount Ti² Elite 9" FF with RAM Mount on my boat console too. Would You please tell me if it is the RAM ball C (low hand) enough for 9" Lowrance knowing that RAM is recommending ball D, 2,25"? What would be by using longer hand (6,88"), do I need in this case the ball D or ball C would be also enough? Thank You for feedback! BR Robert HORVAT

Bought this unit back in February and have been VERY DISAPPOINTED ,It is not USER FRIENDLY the Navonics software is very hard to operate if you can get it to operate at all been trying to save waypoints and sonar contours like they claimed I even called support and found out I had to purchase a Unzip program to even get it open , what the hell if I wanted to buy another program just after I spent 1200.00 you have got to be kidding me.Then I find out Garmin bought out Navonics should have just bought a Garmin to start with.

Usually complain about the same thing, especially with personal opinion blathering on. You probably are experienced and find some of this info redundant. But I thought it was pretty balanced to help newbies with some skills, to others who have moderate skills.
