Lowrance Elite Ti2 Review and Tutorial

So for small craft there really is no better unit. This unit really has it all, side imaging, amazing mapping and the most user friendly format on the market. But is it the right unit for you?

Great tutorial, Peter. I came across this exact unit on sale yesterday and remembered seeing it on your own Gheenoe the other day so I went ahead and pulled the trigger. After watching this, I feel even better about my impulsive purchase. Looks like it will be everything I need and a nice upgrade from my Elite 4. Can't wait to get it set up on my NuCanoe and hit the water this Spring.

To view the depth of the water when in map mode, add it as an "overlay". You can edit overlays for each view ;-)

I had another comment that told me the same thing. Im going to have to do a follow up video with that and other tricks I've picked up on the unit

You must live in the Tulsa area. I fish Skiatook often. I’m sure you have learned how to use edit overlays by now. I have the elite Ti. Great units. My unit warned me of my bad motor battery.

If you want to put the depth speed and temperature on any one Taking press the on button and then press the button for overlay and then on the right hand side it’ll say add you hit that and then you can start adding what you want of each one of these charts and then when you hit save every time you go to the chart it will have everything you asked when you make a bunch of charts three for whatever in your same column you can do the same thing to one of them and they don’t have it all on that one for every time you hit that menu with the three on one of them will have your speed depth and all that

Hi, could you help me in the configuration of an Elite ti and two Suzuki engines? He only sees one even though the wiring has been checked to perfection and obviously after setting the fuel on two engines ... there is no way to show him the right engine ... help me if you can. thank you

Just bought this unit today! So excited to use it. Are you still enjoying this model? Or would you recommend something else. I was also looking at a raymarine 9”

So I am definitely still really enjoying this unit. And now they have the Elite FS. It is essentially the same unit though with more connectivity. I have not used the Raymarine units so I cannot speak on them with any authority. They do look pretty slick though.

So these units produce a contoured map as you go around the lake? No pre loaded maps? I want to get into kayak fishing.

You can make contoured maps but yes they do come with a preloaded set of maps

@@TWC6724 so I would go with the elite for the mapping. When you're kayak fishing you need to make THE MOST of every advantage possible and having those hydrographic maps is imperative
