If I have a Live 12 at console and bow, and after I setup my overlays, favorites, etc, at the console unit, can I copy those to my bow unit without having to go through each page and re-set up?

when you are in the split Left and Right side-scan (two side scans on one screen with sonar and chart) and go back to just side scan you will only have the left or right side scan and not both. And you have to go back and change it to left and right side scan. then your split will have a L&R and an L or R. Is this going to get fixed in an update?

I turn the Spotlight scan on simulation to get familiar with a feature I do Not have. Now the home ALWAYS shows that feature even though I have repeatedly turned the feature off. Am I stuck with the nuisance?

I just purchased a couple of HDS Live units. Could you guys possibly do a in depth video on the instruments page. How to build a custom instruments page with SOG, RPM, Water Temp, Oil Pressure, etc. and how to edit the page (add/remove instruments) Thanks!

Hi I have a Hooks2 Reveal 9inch Tripelnshot and Is the fish reveal setting automatic or is there a way to turn it on or off when using down scan. Having a hard time finding the settings. Thank you Bruce

My Elite FS-9 won't let me use SideScan if Chirp is selected on any sonar page. Is this normal?

I am installing 2 HDS 9 lives that I recently purchased. The install manual shows the last 2 connections on the back to be a Blue and a Black. However my unit actually has 2 black connections. Are these the same? Also get hate mail over having fish ID set on the sonar by all the high brows but mainly troll with rookies and it makes it easier to know it is a fish and also can see what depth they are at quickly.

Question: I just purchased a Sun Tracker Fishin' Barge 22 DLX pontoon boat and need a fishing package. I am looking at the Lowrance Elite FS 9 with 3-1 Active Imaging Transducer. My question is what type of trolling motor do I need that will connect with the Lowrance Elite FS9. I need a 80 LB 24 V with I-Pilot (no foot pedal).

Question. The user manual says the max number of panels a page can display depends on the unit size. What are the max # of panels for 7" and 9"?

Yes, the 12" and 16" can have up to 6-panel split screen, whereas the 7" and 9" have 4-panel split screen.

@@lowrance thanks I picked one up last night bass pro / cabelas has a screaming Black Friday special! 899 for hdslive 9 and 12 inch 1899! Btw what size ram mount would you reccomend. Or plate. I noticed the plate for existing elite ti2 9inch won’t fit bracket on HDSLIVE 9 so need a bigger ram or bigger plate

just watched this session and really enjoyed it. I'm trying to set up the dashboard screen with my Yamaha engine and I'm not seeing what you showed on your demo. Is a Yamaha engine compatible with Lowrance HDS Live? And I can't find any videos on your quick tips.

You will need to have a NMEA2000 engine interface. Contact Yamaha to double check if your engine is compatible for Generic engine data, ref. 000-0120-37 or with Specific engine data, ref. 6YG-8A2D0-00-00

Awesome video, quick question on these units, I got 2 HDS 12 live units from Bass Pro during the Black Friday sale in NOV. My cameras are not working and one of them are freezing up on 2D sonar. I was told that there are firmware/software being worked to correct these issues. Just looking for feedback for the correctness of this and steps I should take?

@@lowrance I did on yesterday, I was speaking with someone via messaging, sent them screen shots of my unit info, and was giving me some steps to investigate. They verify that my units are under warranty

How can I log a map/chart, and use it directly on the water. I dont want to upload it on internet C-Map Genesis. I want to use the map I made the same day, and I dont want to share the logging with no other people? Please answer.

@@Lazzoboy You will have to pay for the pro version of CMAP Genesis to prevent others form having your logs or use Genesis Live. Unless you get a Navionics card with an actice subscription and use Sonar Chart Live. Those are the only options at this time that I'm aware of.

Yes you can indeed. With your unit switched on, short press the power key, the System Controls will appear, you can choose Edit Overlay from there.

You will need to return the unit and it has to be disabled.

@@lowrance Consider adding a menu item to remove the language pack. This will solve various problems: when the wrong lang pack is purchased, when there is a need to install another lang pack, etc.
