Huh. It took until now for me to notice that they errata'd Amass when the LotR set came out. Now you Amass a creature type, it works the same, but the Army gains the creature type that you Amass, plus the +1/+1 counters. I mean, it makes sense to do it that way, but it really brings the Bolas / Sauron comparison into focus. Orcs *basically* are zombies, that just also are alive. To be fair to people deriding sincerity by calling it cringe, it can be painful to watch someone (especially someone inexperienced) be sincere. It can remind you of past trauma when you were that vulnerable, or it can be embarrassing when someone shows how impactful a random act of kindness was, not to even mention how disruptive it can be when people publicly display affection inappropriately. It's just a lot more comfy to hide behind a shell of sarcasm, indifference, or professionalism. That said, people are people.
