Here is our "Way To Early" 2024 Clemson Tigers football predictions video for every college football game of the 2024 season.
We're going to go game by game and break each matchup down. Along the way we will predict the final outcome of each matchup, and predict Alabamas final record on the season.
The SEC as a whole has gone through massive changes this year. The BIG 10 has added Washington, USC, UCLA and Oregon Ducks. We have the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners coming into the SEC conference. The road to the SEC championship is now more difficult. We have also had Nick Saban, the GOAT himself retire. We welcome in Kalen Deboer as the new Head Coach of the Crimson Tide. Kirby Smart though is still in charge in the SEC conference. The college football playoffs have also expanded to 12 teams now starting this year. Brent Venables looks to compete with other SEC coaches. Dan Lanning is re tooling. LSU Tigers and Brian Kelly look to replace Heisman winner Jayden Daniel’s. Napiers try's to get the Gators back to a bowl game. FSU looks to get back to playoff contention. The Texas A&M Aggies look to rebound under Mike Elko and the departure of Jimbo Fisher.
Let's take a close look at each of these games being of season to end.

Expecting deboer to be walk into Death Valley at night with that gutted roster & get the Win in year one is insane to think! Not saying it can’t happen but to give them the automatic dub is bold

Excellent point. Denier’s been in tough atmospheres. But I hear and agree with you. That game can go either way. It’s definitely not a given win by any means. If LSU beats Bama I wouldn’t be surprised at all. LSU is tough at night no doubt

Gutted? Don’t they still have 23 five stars? Which is 5+ more than UGA & OSU?

@@3rd-And-Long If you’re wanting Tua/Bryce level QB play, then it’s a question. I don’t think you need that level of play to win a title (or be a legitimate title contender) though as Milroe was 3 yards away & a few inches off a muffed punt away from a probable title last year. The team is improved talent-wise overall despite the Downs loss. Coaching is still a ? even though the supporting staff is without a doubt superior to Saban’s last year.

@@hudsonstovall8119 exactly. I don’t think you need Tua type play. But LSU was so reliant on Daniels last season, as in if he isn’t playing Heisman football they go 7-5. That’s with all that talent. I agree though the team overall may be better this season. So you don’t need Heisman level football, but you will need a pretty good/efficient quarterback

LSU is not losing to Oklahoma at home. LSU is going to show them what Saturday night in Death Valley is like. I'm also giving LSU the edge over Ole Miss based on the facts that it's at Tiger Stadium and LSU will have an extra week to prepare. The only two games that concern me is Alabama and Texas A&M because nobody knows what to expect from those teams this year with the coaching changes. So for LSU I'm going with 12-0 as the ceiling and 10-2 as the floor.

@3rd-And-Long I think so, the defense can't be any worse than last year. I think the big question for LSU this season is how much of a drop off will the offense have.

@@cajunpyro2545 good take on that. If the offense drops off a hair but the defense is better in will have been a fair trade. Like you said, the defense can’t get worse so at least you’ll make up ground there. If they can just get to 50th ranking things will look bright

I’m not saying it will happen, but Trojans might catch LSU off guard week one. USC will have an offense and LSU might not be firing on all cylinders just yet. Not saying it will, it’s just possible

Hey that can always happen. No doubt about that. Sometimes it comes down to when you play a team. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a close one

LSU can match you player for player on offense. Tigers have on of top 2-3 Olines in the country. Best set of bookends in college football. Four of five returning starters on the OLine. Top 5-6 WRs can play for any school in the country. SOLID TE room. Winner will be determined by which defense makes most improvement this offseason. My money's on CBK and the best defensive staff in the country. Tigers problems on that side the ball were not about the Jimmies and Joes. It was all on the Xs and Os.

@@user-xp6qd4sk1j great breakdown. I’m giving the edge to LSU. But honestly anything can happen week 1. Lot of teams are sloppy out the gate, not in a rhythm. Not saying they’ll lose but whenever you start week 1 vs a decent team there’s always the possibility. But I agree with you

NO way LSU loses to ole miss, bama and ou all games in Tiger stadium. Not going to happen. CBK gets at least one. Hopefully two. As for the other 9 games on the schedule. LSU currently in a better spot than all of them.

Do you see any weaknesses on the schedule or are you seeing a 11-1 type year?

@@3rd-And-Long I think the schedule sets up perfect for LSU. Three toughest games are all in Death Valley. No way they lose all three. Toughest road trip is Kyle Field. Take CBK over 1st year aggie coach. Elko is good though. a7m will be much better in the future with him running the program. Year one I like LSU to win that game. 10-2 anything less would be a big disappointment.
