Here is our "Way To Early" 2024 Ole Miss Rebels football predictions video for every college football game of the 2024 season.
We're going to go game by game and break each matchup down. Along the way we will predict the final outcome of each matchup, and predict Alabamas final record on the season.
The SEC as a whole has gone through massive changes this year. The BIG 10 has added Washington, USC, UCLA and Oregon Ducks. We have the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners coming into the SEC conference. The road to the SEC championship is now more difficult. We have also had Nick Saban, the GOAT himself retire. We welcome in Kalen Deboer as the new Head Coach of the Crimson Tide. Kirby Smart though is still in charge in the SEC conference. The college football playoffs have also expanded to 12 teams now starting this year. Brent Venables looks to compete with other SEC coaches. Dan Lanning is re tooling. LSU Tigers and Brian Kelly look to replace Heisman winner Jayden Daniel’s. Napiers try's to get the Gators back to a bowl game. FSU looks to get back to playoff contention. The Texas A&M Aggies look to rebound under Mike Elko and the departure of Jimbo Fisher. Mario Cristobal looks to try to build on last seasons campaign. Marcus freeman looks to take Notre Dame to the next level. Lane Kiffin will try to get the Rebels into the playoffs.
Let's take a close look at each of these games being of season to end.

Great analysis! One thing: there is absolutely no way, no consideration, that Ole Miss has any possibility of taking LSU lightly. Especially if the season is going as you and many predict, at night, in "Death Valley", with past history, Ole Miss and their fans will come with hair ablaze!🤬🔥🟤🟣

There is no way OM doesn't take LSU seriously. That will never happen. Not saying OM will win in BR but they are going there to win. OM remembers the last trip there and Jackson Dart has one more time to right the ship in BR. I do feel like you are correct and OM is too much for LSU even in BR.

@@ronnieturner1356 I think you’re spot on. Great point. That game will be crazy, a lot will be riding on it as well. But I think as of now the odds will have to be in Ole Miss’ favor

I’m a bit of a hater, I admit, but I don’t think this team is a lock to be as good as people are making them out to be. I do not buy into the idea that you can consistently build an elite, cohesive team mainly through the transfer portal. Don’t get me wrong, they’re winning 8 games without even breaking a sweat and most likely 9, but the idea that this team will just cruise to 10+ wins and a playoff birth is crazy to me. They will play in a bunch of close games and will need to win most of them. Like are they just going to just show up and steam roll Kentucky at home or Florida in the Swamp? I doubt it. Oklahoma is going to be a shoot out and come down to whoever has the ball last. Georgia is a loss. They always struggle with LSU on the road. This is a really good team. They absolutely could go 10-2 and make the playoffs, but I do not think it’s a lock like some are making it out to be.

No I think you’re spot on. That makes perfect sense and I can see it playing out that way. They seem like they may be living in 1 score games, so they could easily drop a few of them. Good point

If they take the game lightly it can maybe happen. If Arkansas gets up and Ole Miss gets caught looking ahead

I think Lane keys is down again as is usually. It will look like he’s going to playoffs. But he’ll go 10-1, under perform. And miss Sec champ and playoffs

10-1? I assume you mean when Ole Miss is going into the MS State game? Are you predicting a loss to State? If that happens, 10-2 in the SEC very likely makes the playoffs. MUCH more likely is they beat the pants off State, go 11-1 and then definitely make the playoffs, as this guy just said. So what's different about your prediction?

@@rickrhoden1 good call out. And Ole Miss will definitely beat Miss st. Both of these coaches are familiar with one another, but there ls a massive talent gap between the 2 squads. 11-1 100% makes playoffs. 10-2 I’d say is 70%, just depending on how many 10-2 SEC teams there are at the end. But more then likely there shouldn’t be too many so they’d get in
