Hailey is finally getting comfortable. I think she didn’t want to rub her teammates the wrong way but she has to shoot more off the ball! She did great today. Can’t wait to see what’s in store moving forward.

She is getting more comfortable however, I don't think there was any issue with not wanting to rub her teammates wrong. Seems to me that her teammates have wanted her to shoot more too ("shoot the ball, Hailey!).

Hailey Van Lith balled tf out. Mulkey gotta play her off the ball more if LSU wanna repeat. They gone need her scoring down the stretch for sure.

I mean they’ve only lost four games and this was HVL first game shooting this good. LSU strength this year is flexibility! Angel can play 4 and 5. Flaujae can play 2,3, and a stretch four. Morrow can play 2-5! Mulkey tried to run HVL at PG but she’s only a 2 and Poa is the real PG on the team. But Kim knows what she’s doing

@@geezyeskabante HVL averaged 20 in 3 straight NCAA tournaments. Big games is what she do. Only other player on the team that has that kind of prolific tournament resume is Angel. LSU will NEED HVL to shine down the stretch to repeat. Point blank period.

This is all on Van Lith nobody else can’t blame them dam countless of dumb turnovers on nobody else handle ball with care and be confident and consistent in shot selections

Nah that’s going to throw their rhythm right back off and they just got it back. LSU can go Poa,Flaujae,Morrow, Reese, and Del Rosario and dog walk anybody.

7:13 this is how important refs are. If they would have called double dribble, Van Lift would not had made that 3, momentum would be on Tennessee. Better chance for them to win

That game against Tennessee belongs to Hailey today! She did all of the work and plays with intensity and determination! So, she will potentially have a good chance of leading LSU to a national championship!

Van Lith is getting comfortable at the right time of the year, I hope she can stay consistent. Also I like how Kim Mulkey got on Angel the second play of the game. Hustle for the rebound man, ya best player can’t be lazy if you wanna repeat. They need to step up the Defense alittle more, too much unnecessary jumping & reaching. Stay infront ya defender & dig in!

Hailey draft stock definitely went to top 5. She proved she can transitioned to a point/scoring guard in the WNBA.. She put the team on her back...😊

Good game, ladies! HVL, so happy for you and I hope you continue to play like we know you can. TN Vols, Rickea, Jasmine, Sara, Jewel, Karoline and Tess, someone stated earlier in the season that Kellie was not the coach for you guys. I held my thoughts and took a "wait and see" or "time will tell" stance on the topic. When Rikea was out, I could tell that this is definitely the case. Kellie and the coaching staff have done very little to develop you all beyond the skill level you had prior to coming to TN. You all have done an amazing job, since you have had very little guidance and leadership. Rickea, you have earned much respect and also kept the lights on ❤🙏!

@@kaderiuscunningham4652 So true (she takes/makes that shot all the time). Either way, it doesn't matter (whether she has a "shot" for the WNBA or not). Cause, her ball handling and passing skills would make her an excellent Point Forward type. That's her real position, if they allowed her to play it, despite her rebounding and low post scoring. Her all court defense is excellent as well.

@younmang It's obvious, you didn't watch the game. You're only seeing the scores. Tennessee, shot 33% from the floor, and LSU shot from less than 45%, probably a lot worse.

Listened to the game on the radio and the announcer sitting next to Kim hears her yelling to slow the game down and they ignoring her putting shots up. Missing bunnies left and right - 88 shots - Christ on a biscuit. Makes you wonder how much they practice their shooting or are they resting on laurels that don't exist (or do they listen to their coach?). It's not like they haven't participated in some ugly games - maybe they just don't like watching themselves or do any self evaluation. With as much talent on the floor could a team like this achieve at such a low level - sure they win games but they don't seem like they make it easy on themselves in the process. Honestly, I'm not getting a whole lot of enjoyment listening or watching them struggle to the finish line like this. (And no I won't stop watching or bitching about bad play), It wasn't like they lost a 16 point lead because of the outstanding defense of TN**. It was encouraging that Hailey finally had a game to talk about. She made baskets when they were in great need to put the ball in the basket. Struggle struggle toil and trouble. How's it looking from your view? ** LSU - 6 turnovers, TN had 2 steals, blocked 4 shots, LSU out rebounded them by 10, LSU shot 33% FG but 40% from 3 point land.

@@reneehicks7656Van Lith and Poa are not on the floor together as much as you think lol point is…even when HVL is at the one. Mulkey should be running a set where the ball swings back to her. The girl averaged 20+ in 3 straight tournaments. Big games is what she do.
