I've been saying this for months!! There are so many retired, relatively young, generals & colonels with so much experience in the military & allied cooperation in many countries, giving them an overall insight on world politics, and highly respected by their troops & civilians alike. Why can't they run for office & do what is needed for their constituents & country, which they will see as their duty?
