Queen Elizabeth always makes me sad when i imagine what she had gone through. She was such a remarkable lady and a great monarch. Her mother was a victim of her father's ambitions. I also felt sad for the Spanish princess i.e. Queen Catherine. Henry VIII was not loyal to anyone, except the one who gave him heir. He was very harsh towards Elizabeth. 💔😪

Ι lost my mother when I was a baby and despite having a great dad, I've faced ,and still, do certain issues. I can't imagine what it' d be like to practically grow up by yourself and knowing the reason why your mom isn't around is because your dad killed her. What a monster this man was.

*And also one of my favorite and least appreciated is Mary Tudor, Mary was a remarkably smart and intelligent woman. She could have been a great queen if her childhood and adulthood had not been marked by those tragic events. How miserable and unhappy he must have been. The fact is, Mary Tudor is one of the most unfairly misunderstood figures in history. Not only was her "bloody" myth an invention of the Protestants, history conveniently ignores her tragic past and paints her as an unhappy bitter woman who was evil. I remember when I read about "Bloody Mary" and heard the stories about his reign of terror and his fanaticism. Back then, you simply painted her in your own mind as a ruthless and bitter tyrant regardless of the reasons why he ruled as he did.* *If you investigate her you realize how sad her life had been, and how it must have affected her, and why she became what she became.* *They stripped her of their titles, separated her from her mother, labeled her a bastard, mocked the new Protestant nobles, and denied her marriage for a long time. * *All of those things must have been a great burden on his heart, and this is something that most historians (both expert and casual) simply ignore or ignore. * *So when she was finally given the power that was rightfully hers, I understand why she unleashed her anger and revenge on everyone who had mistreated her in the past. She was not a monster, Henry killed over 7000 people during her reign, Elizabeth also executed thousands of Catholics. but Mary 270. "Bloody Mary" wasn't a myth so much as an exaggeration. She really *did* have people burned alive for not being of the right version of Christianity. And they all had tragic pasts with the exception of Edward who ended up having a tragic ending instead, so Mary wasn't unique in that. Also, she nearly gave away her country to Spain, which would have been a betrayal of her people, all to keep them under a certain version of Christianity. She wasn't bitter, that's very true, but she was a paranoid religious extremist even for that time period. And thanks to her religious bigotry and her paranoia, Elizabeth had an even more tragic past than she did.

If I should choose one from all Tudors I will choose Henry VII. There is something speciál about his story which always makes me feel interesting in him. Also Jacob Levi was choosen so well! Like he literally looks like Henry VII as we know him from a picture and his performance was perfect. Even though I will still love The most your Medici edits, Tudors edits are also very high quality one!

I always liked Henry VII as well, I was so existed when "The White Princess" was first announced and overall I really loved this series

Henry VII was just as barbaric as the others. He murdered Richard III. He probably would have murdered Edward VII's sons if Richard III hadn't done it for him. He could have stayed in France and lived a good life as an aristocrat there, but he wanted power.

Robin Lillian When somebody is killed in The battle it isnt murder. And Henri wasnt The one who killed him personally. Also if Buckingham suceeded he would do The same thing to Richard. I have studied this for a while now. Nobody in this period wasnt saint, it was just simply bloodshed. Richard wanted good things for kingdom but he also empted The royal tressury and The way he reached The throne is questinable. Otherwise Henry became a king in similar way as Edward. Edward also won The crown because he won a battle, he had big military supporter Warwick and The death of Henry VI is also questinable. But it is true that Edward’s claim was stronger (if he wasnt The son of archer as one rumor said). But in these period everybody with a little of claim was dangerouse. And faith of The princess is still not known. Now you can find lots of books or documentarie which claim that Richard probably didnt murder them but nobody knows. Remember we still have The case of Perkin Warbeck.

I feel like Mary did love Elizabeth but she thought that Elizabeth will take the throne she could have signed the death warrant for Elizabeth but she didn’t.

Everyone is saying that henry wouldn't have to make Elizabeth suffer by cutting her mother's head but consider if it wasn't for that event Elizabeth would've been completely different maybe she wouldn't even be queen because of her sister mary because she had people who wanted her and not Elizabeth in the crown but I might be wrong to. What I'm saying is that all what henry did to Elizabeth made her the woman she was (sorry for my english I'm learning)

Axel: The Plantagenets started the War of the Roses before Woodville's time. She married the White Rose King Edward IV. After he died, his brother Richard III claimed the throne & murdered her young sons in the tower. Then King Henry VII (Red King) killed Richard & married her daughter & reunited the family in Henry VIII.

*In all this history of the Tudors, I choose Henry, beyond his personal life he was a great leader, but my favorite always in this story will be Elizabeth Woodville, she is the true mother of the Dynasty, without her many things would be different, and He was a great character of power and cunning above all. Isabel I was also a great leader and Queen although for me the war of the two queens both of Mary Stuart and Elizabeth, her winner was Mary although it cost her life, why? simple Elizabeth despite having the throne for unlimited time, Mary left an heir joining two kingdoms, that is to say that the one who really won was her since her son was the one who ruled, that's why there is a phrase that says "Isabel won the battle, Mary won the war. "*

Mary didn't won anything! her son becoming king which you saying the sign of Mary winning, was Elizabeth's plan all along! know why? because not only he never knew or care about Mary, he was a protestant, fought for protenstants, fought against Catholics that were coming against Elizabeth, including the ones who were trying to avenge Mary. and finally once he became king, he, his children and grandchildren and future Stuarts, all looked up to Elizabeth, the role she made and her wishes. The only thing James did for Mary by gaining the throne, was to built a tomb that's not even where she asked to. other than that he continued the history of England the exact way Elizabeth wanted to, maybe a bit harsher than her, but still her path. not Mary's. hell, he even named his first born daughter after Elizabeth
