Maze has a long-standing commitment to protect Lucifer and wouldn't go anywhere without him. Her desire to get him back to Hell is motivated by her desire to keep him safe from his evidently creeping mortality. Her pondering offing Chloe in the last scene is also related to keeping him safe. There's more to this, but no spoilers.

With out spoiling too much, one of the central themes of the show is free will and self determination.

Interesting how a writer asks the same questions I suppose the show writers put forward in story meetings before concocting the story lines.... Eliciting those questions in the audience is part of the "hook" to get them hungering for answers and coming back.... And it is Amenadiel "A Men A Deal" for a phonetic hint. And yes he could slow time and read Linda's notes, but does he want to get insight into Luci, or has he other plans? We have seen that Lucifer's other powers are undiminished, his "desire" shtick works fine (though not on Chloe), and we've seen his super human strength too. Do you notice the little easter eggs in the show, like the name of the cafe Maze gets her coffee at? Beelzebob's.... (which if you don't know is one name for the devil) Oh and she is not wrong about all those people dreaming of writing the next great screenplay, only to fail - for every successful writer, there are thousands upon thousands of folks who "think" they are good writers but are in fact not. I worked in motion picture and television production for 15 years and I can say with certainty that almost every crew member believes he or she has the next great screenplay....

Well, many of the answers to your questions will be considered a spoiler. So I will just answer some of them, trying to give the least amount of spoilers possible. 1. When will Chloe recognize that Lucifer is indeed the devil ? I will not state the exact point in time but it will be a beautiful but also painful scene. 2. Is Mazekeen the only personal guard of Lucifer ? She is. 3. Who will find out about Lucifer first, Chloe or Linda ? I will not answer that question. But please remember the scene when it happens. It is very well done, the actors are doing an excellent job in this scene and the lighting and music is fantastic ! It is one of my favorite episodes. 4. Will we see God ? They never flat out say (that I'm aware) but one of Lucifer's other powers is that he can open any lock....guessing something to do with all the cells/doors in hell

NOT SPOILER just elaboration of events to this point: Maze is one of the demons of hell. Amenediel in episode 1 already confirmed that there exists demons in hell and a certain order of things that exists and needs to be maintained (a balance)- which further shows a hierarchy in the celestial, material and infernal realms. As to the nature of the characters stay tuned.

Even if I wanted to spoil it (which I don't) I don't remember who finds out he's THE Lucifer first out of Linda and Chloe. Or rather, I don't remember whether Linda finds out before Chloe finally realises he's being literal...because he's told her already as we know, but she just doesn't realise he's being literal.

He’s only a civilian with Chloe….everyone else can’t do anything to stop Lucifer from getting what he wants

Maze is a complicated character that gets fleshed out in later episodes

not to say when or how but they find out alright, things get more into it after they establish the characters and setting to an extent. I like how this show was getting referenced when they mentioned it on Supernatural when Lucifer told Sam maybe he would help solve crimes in LA after getting out of Hell again.

Those are some excellent questions that do have answers. You'll just have to keep watching though. I don't want to spoil Maze's journey or the way this world works for you. Or anything between Lucifer and any of his mortal contacts.

Lucifer brought her from hell she can't get back on her own. It's a matter of transport. Free will is the underwriting theme of the whole show so you will need to see and learn this as the series progresses.

If you want to meet G.O.D. you have to watch Supernatural, but there it also tooks over 10 seasons with 20+ episodes per season 😲Or just watch "Dogma" 🤣

(its a question that doesnt really get directly explained) ... Look at the situation from Dr Linda's perspective. She's banging a patent. frequently and vigorously. There are no billing records - no appointments ... Would she leave a paper record for a review board to find and pull her medical license? Dr Linda is a lot like the Doctor from Twister ... She's thinking that Lucifer is talking in a metaphor.... (the Doctor in Twister thought chasing a tornado was a metaphor for a chaotic life - until she saw the cow fly by)

It's all free will. Maze can't leave Lucifer's side without his permission. No one can leave hell without Lucifer's permission, so if she returns Maze wouldn't be able to come back and help or protect him which is the reason she exists and she takes pride in her work. Amenadiel can't break in or steal because he is an angel. Amenadiel needs Dr. Linda's understanding of Lucifer to find out his desires and motivation to be better able to convince him to go back to hell because returning must be by his choice, not by force.

Ill answer the questions that aren't really answered and some more power scale stuff. This is the same Lucifer from sandman and the Constantine movie with Keanu. But different of course. Also this Lucifer is rhe lucifer for the Arrowverse but we don't get those heroes here. So combining a few lores and a bit if biblical stuff to explain without spoilers. There are thousands of demons. Maze was sorta made to be the best for Lucifer when he was cast down to hell with the demons. And pretty much a lot of pre humanity monsters. These demons aren't fallen angels. So in order to travel between hell, earth and heaven you need wings. Wingless maze needs Luci to carry her. Timeline wize luci and angels are older than the dinosaurs, maze is younger than the garden of Eden. Maze has demon strength and metabolism. Kinda like Luci. Both have skills from thousands of years of practice. A lot will be answered as you watch but they also leave a lot out. Amenadiel and pretty much all if the angels are very elitist and don't mingle with humanity unless its really needed. So he understands that luci talks to linda, but not exactly that she'd have notes. PS, trixie was the one to give luci chloes phone number and address.

Fallen, or not God sent an angel to rule over hell. Maze can disagree and voice her opinion, but in the end...God rules. Lucifer knows this, but he'll never admit it. That's just one more thing that keeps him in his place. God rules in heaven, where He hopes to meet all. I see earth as a testing ground to separate the wheat from the chaff. Jesus will take care of that. This show points to the immaturity of Lucifer whom never seems to 'grow up, and I watch with a tongue-in-cheek attitude. I find Lucifer quite laughable; or I would never watch. Spoiler Alert: S2xE6 Doctor, Doctor, gimme the news....
