Ooo pesto crusted fish sounds absolutely delicious! I'll have to try that this week too. Love your hair shorter! Really suits you :)

Here we all eat one meal together as a family, i would hate to have to run around so much and cook twice...well, maybe - i do love to cook! An excuse to cook more might be tempting.... My childrens pallets are well developed, i exposed them to so much and they were always brave eaters, so i've always been able to cook an interesting and adult spiced meal and have them enjoy it..i am so lucky. you have it rougher, but at least you have fantastic hair! ;)

Jennifer Hunter I know... it is the cooking twice that kills me. When the six year old is older we will all eat together most nights, because whilst I would be happy eating at 6 every night, my husband won't think about food until 8/830 - so we are in that transitional stage. And I am continually trying to develop my kids' tastes, and they are getting better all the time, but I should have taken a leaf out of your book and done it sooner. I wasn't that organised!

ive had a very unconventional working schedule, and was able to have many years at home with my kids, and so i was able to have that extra time. I do understand trying to get everything to fit together in a busy household, with little ones..and you do what you have to - and that is simply perfect for your family!! Everyone does it differently, and no one is wrong! I found that when i loved a food item and didn't hesitate to eat it, they followed... but to this day my eldest HATES mushrooms because when i started eating and feeding him, i would express my disdain for that item, and therefore he followed suit. However, he was given a dash of hot sauce when we was just over 1, and the person who gave it to him was happy and smiling, and to this day. he LOVES spicy things. I didn't do that with my youngest and he eats mushrooms, broccoli, and even raw salmon surimi -but refuses spicy curries and salsas (cause i couldn't feed a baby hot sauce! i wasn't as cruel as the other person!)... then there are just things they will never like. I can and will never like asparagus -and i have tried!!

adamgrant100 Not yet, but I will do. I just pureed a tin of artichokes with some cream cheese, garlic, salt and pepper. Half baked the pizza before smearing it on with some chopped artichokes, then topping with parmesan and rocket when out of the oven, drizzling with olive oil, before eating. I will experiment a bit before posting though.

Hello Lucy, Excuse me but tell me how old you are? I cannot find an article on the internet about your age, I'm intrigued about this age difference between you and James. The age gap. Thanks
