I was there! I had very high expectations, they were exceeded by far! Lucy sang 15 solos including 4 songs not yet available as official videos. Lucy also dedicated “ A thousand years” to Martha with video and photos of their lives together playing on a giant screen above the stage, Martha then joined Lucy on stage to sing two duets, “ Wonderful World” and “ The Prayer” to close the first half of the show, there were two superstars on stage that night. I had the immense privilege of sitting next to Lucy and Martha’s parents as their daughters received several, well deserved standing ovations. The “ Meet and greet” was fantastic and went on until about 11:30, then Lucy, her parents and other friends and family joined several of Lucy’s supporters at the nearby Indigo Hotel until about 1:30 the following morning! Lucy herself has described it as a ‘magical’ night, I can only agree!

Hello Bonjour, thank you for keep supporting Lucy, this was her first public concert in Manchester, so we can forgive the slightly over the top introduction but as a fan I loved it, she is so very special to us she keeps us going with her amazing voice and choice of songs. " Somewhere " from West Side Story was a great musical of yesteryear I think late 50s or early 60s but the start of all those famous musicals brought out in that period. Lucy can sing musical theatre as good as anybody so I am so looking forward to hear her sing in the new musical " Rosie " later on this year. Take care keep well Barbara.

The evidence is there for all to see. Lucy Thomas will be a global superstar. She ticks every box. It will come to pass. But what I liked most about your comments was your observation that despite everything Lucy is a humble, genuine, real human being. No airs and graces, just charming humanity, that is what we saw. J'étais au concert de Manchester, et je serai au concert de Tokyo le 8 septembre. Comme vous l'avez dit, j'ai pu la rencontrer et avoir un autographe et échanger 5 minutes avec elle, et avec sa famille. C'est une personne fantastique, très humble, drôle, très intelligente, et très bien entourée. Sa voix est sublime, jamais dans la démonstration, toujours parfaitement juste, son implication est hors norme. Elle est pour moi de très loin la plus belle voix que je n'ai jamais entendue. Autre chose incroyable, elle est capable de tout chanter. Vraiment, c'est la perfection à l'état pur.

Chouette réaction, j’étais présent à Manchester et je dois avouer que j’étais juste un peu anxieux de voir si Lucy était toujours aussi capable de m’impressionner comme dans toutes ses vidéos que je dévore depuis que je l’ai découverte il y a à peu près une année et bien entendu tombé immédiatement amoureux. Et bien, je confirme, en vraie, elle est encore plus magique, son look, sa gentillesse, sa voix et surtout sa manière à elle de chanter si spéciale en allongeant très légèrement certaines notes à la limite de l’off tempo dont elle a le secret. J’ai même pu échanger quelques mots avec elle, sa sœur, sa maman et même boire un verre avec son grand père et tous ses proches après le concert dans un pub tout près, tous des gens très chaleureux . Avec un tel entourage, on comprend facilement pourquoi Lucy est si spéciale, unique, et j’espère vraiment qu’elle ne sera pas corrompue par le succès mondial qui ne va pas tarder, et qu’elle mérite, bien évidement.

Seriously, this is/was a huge event for Lucy (and her fans) - So I liked the intro a lot. Like you - I thought this was a spectacular performance by Lucy.

Great reaction. I assume there was some type of soundtrack that the pianist was controlling because I saw him touching a screen over the keyboard on occasion. In any case, hoping they issue more songs from the performance.

Il est vrai que la présentation est très " américaine" mais , en fin de compte, elle correspond à la réalité. On voit , au début que Lucy est un peu stressée, mais , dés les premières notes , son professionalisme prend le dessus. Si j'ai bien compris, les parents de Lucy ont insistés pour qu'elle finisse ses études avant de commencer , a plein temps, sa carrière de chanteuse. C'est pourquoi c'est seulement à 20 ans qu'elle fait son premier concert public. Un grand bravo aux parents!! Je suis les videos de Lucy depuis 2020 . Ce que j'aime en elle est sa très belle personnalité ( en anglais je dirais : she is a lovely person). Elle ne fait pas de " chichi", n'est jamais arrogante. Beaucoup de ses vidéos parlent d'altruisme, de bonté envers les autres ( kindness), de fidélités envers ses proches, de reconnaissance.. Alors pourquoi bouder son plaisir?
