Great reaction. For one so young, Martha’s ability to harmonise is beyond her years, especially as she is just a part time singer. I believe Martha was only 12 years old when this was recorded and sitting on a bar stool to put her at a similar height to Lucy. I think they sang this live at Lucy’s concert but it hasn’t yet been released on video but it would be great to hear the difference between now and then, with both their voices having matured.

Surely it is obvious that Martha is much younger than Lucy,5yrs 8 months to be precise so one can't directly make a comparison as regards to the vocal technique between the girls,also Martha isn't destined to make a career out of singing as her priorities lie elsewhere, notably in equestrian!.as regards to this performance it is second to none!,Lucy also as a solo artist gets better & better,just listen to her latest release 'Unchained melody',stunning!😊

She has a wonderful/beautiful voice - especially for her very young age - definitely different from Lucy's. Matha has always impressed me so much by the way she harmonizes and "adds to" Lucy's voice. They sound amazing together because of the difference - as you pointed out so well. I hope you will react to more duets from these 2. Great reaction by a Frenchman to a wonderful British performer in a famous American venue! You obviously appreciate Courtney's many attributes, but you astutely observed her need to thank the musicians. I had a precious phone call with Courtney yesterday, actually, and almost (but did not) mentioned that to her--she doesn't need my advice. Courtney is in her element when singing but is not yet fully comfortable on stage before and after. She's getting there, and her actual performances are golden!

(Fun Fact: Though they released 5 new songs together last year, Courtney and Kevin had never met face to face until he attended this concert with her. Hi. As always, a great Courtney reaction. What an incredible performance. Not only was the performance spectacular, but the back story was pretty amazing as well On April 29th, the New York Pops honored Clive Davis with a huge concert at Carnegie Hall. Everyone who is anyone in music was there. Courtney was invited personally by Clive to open the show. She blew off the roof and the doors and brought the entire audience to their feet at Carnegie in a standing ovation with this rip roaring, stage dominating rendition of Janis Joplin's 'Piece of my Heart'. Janis was Clive's first signee. It was unbelievable. Courtney shared the stage with many all time greats tied to Clive like Barry Manilow, Dionne Warwick, John Mellencamp, Busta Rhymes and many more. The New York Pops released a 2+ minute clip you mentioned of her performance (which makes up part of this video). It now has over 2.7M views on the Pops site (along with 3.2M on TikTok). By far the most views of any video the New York Pops has released since they started posting in 2014. Too bad they didn't release the whole thing, because Courtney's full performance was spectacular and it would have been fabulous to see it all without it being pieced together. So far only one other individual performance has been released by the Pops from that concert, and that just a few days ago. Kind of says something about how fabulous they thought it was. I love the conductor's reaction as well. As you said, if you watch the him, rather than Courtney (which is hard when she just nailed the song), the conductor sneaks many long peaks at Courtney's performance instead of remaining focused on his musicians. The look on his face says it all. The same can be said for the guitarist. Let's be real. If you were on stage, 15 feet away from this magnificent performance, how could you not help but sneak a peak. It's not very often that you get to hear the voice of a lifetime. It was mind boggling hearing her live. Take how great she sounds digitally, multiply it by ten, and that gives some sense of how sensational she sounds live. She truly is a generational level artist, and that may be an understatement. Latest news on Courtney is that she has recently finished recording the original songs for her debut album. They still have to be mixed, and there will be a single or two released before her full album drop, but the day is getting close. The clips she has shared of her album songs have been fabulous. Her album will be epic. There will be a lot more Courtney music to react to soon. Can't wait for you to hear what she has in store for her album.

Ho visto che hai scoperto Emanne da poco tempo e sei rimasto incantato dalla sua voce e dalla sua grazia. Io sono stato fortunato per averla scoperta già da 7 anni, quando vinse il Got talent di Giordania e ho potuto godere la continua evoluzione della sua bellissima voce. Io come italiano sono attratto dal suo repertorio che comprende molte arie di opere italiane, ed anche canzoni moderne, che lei ha reso con una pronuncia fantasticamente perfetta. Ma Emanne é stata una sorpresa anche come sportiva. Nel college dove studia si impegna in varie attività dalla pista, 200 400 e 800 metri e 5000 su strada, gioca a tennis singolo e doppio, e fa parte della squadra di football. e ottiene anche risultati notevoli, fra le ragazze della sua età. Non so se diventera più famosa nel canto o nello sport ma le auguro comunque tanti successi in tutti e due i campi.

I like to watch your videos of Amira. A side benefit is, it helps my French! Listening, and reading the subtitles. . A lot of fans love Amira, I do. Her talent, her humanity, generosity, humour. Her confidence, built on her faith. It makes a wonderful package. There is a full length video of this, posted by Christopher Ott, that includes Amira talking about her life in Africa. I don't know if you edited that bit out or posted a shorter version you'd found. Dan Keraty is an American, described as a choreographer online. Netherlands ( La paye bas ) is better than Holland. Holland is just one province of the country. I don't know if you have the cd or better still, the dvd of Amira's 18th birthday concert, titled On my own, but she closed that show with this aria. It's a little longer because she had to cut it short for this HGT TV show. Dans cet aria d'Alfredo Catalani, qui termine le premier acte, La Wally se déclare décidée à partir errer dans les montagnes du Tyrol plutôt que d'épouser le prétendant imposé par son père. L'opéra se termine d'ailleurs sur une avalanche, bref c'est plutôt dramatique. Comme vous le dites, ce morceau de bravoure est loin d'être évident, et les spécialistes se disputent toujours pour savoir qui l'a le mieux chanté, de Maria Callas ou de Renata Tebaldi... Amira doit se contenter ici de deux couplets, mais elle a interprété l'intégralité de l'aria lors d'un somptueux concert en solo à Piketberg, près du Cap, en août dernier. Actuellement, elle suit des études de musique à Prétoria tout en continuant à faire des performances régulièrement. Comme son niveau de départ est déjà impressionnant, on ne peut qu'espérer encore mieux pour la suite, et ce serait certes merveilleux de pouvoir l'écouter en France... 😊
