This is a broad spectrum topic, but I really love Gear 5, because it's both badass, but also funny as shit which I don't see often in many other stories/games/shows. Love that you can have a character be a goofing off and still look epic while doing it.

If you consider the fact that Luffy mastered the basics of haki and improved himself physically and managed to apply haki to create gear fourth in just 2 years, why wouldn't Lucci also be able to reach a level of haki at least similar? If you pair that up with an awakening, than it would really make sense that Lucci was at least Gear fourth level Luffy at this point. And they didn't show Luffy struggle in the fight either, if anything it's clear that Luffy has the upper hand so I don't get where the problem is?

Actually rob lucci won the fight back in enies lobby. Luffy is not able to move that time when he use his last technique while rob lucci still can move and used geppo to escape and go to marine ship. If luffy train for 2 years then so as lucci, it's not that lucci time stopped when the camera's focused was on luffy 😅
