Luis Diaz has provided his own injury update after injuring his knee against Arsenal in October. The 26-year-old has hinted at a return for Liverpool's Champions League fixture against Real Madrid.

Obviously his English is a work in progress but it's more about what he's doing for community while absent from the game. I'm sure he'd be first in line to help a blind person like yourself, bless you.

As a Colombian but also a Man Utd fan of 15+ years it certainly hurts knowing he is a Liverpool player but since his arrival he has been loved & supported by all liverpool fans & staff and although I never want liverpool to win trophies I hope Diaz succeeds and has a prosperous career with liverpool and continues to get the support he deserves

luis has a big heart! i really hope this guy becomes a star with liverpool we need him. The next best thing to players returning for me is news of a huge takeover or massive financial backing as regardless of how bad this season goes we can still be a huge force in european football next season with the right additions to our squad. I know its depressing right now for our supporters but i really hope they see that we can bounce back and show faith in the jurgen and pep they are very smart determined and focused guys who will find solutions

What a shame about his setback! The World Cup break was a time for him to recover and comeback fitter and stronger! How Liverpool team doctors didn’t pick that up sooner in his knee then things could of been different for us this season..

Having lived in South America myself for a few years and seeing the poverty and what it takes to overcome hurdles. This guy is dynamite. His English will only improve over time like Darwin Nunez's. It's very challenging. Coming to England via another European league in this case the Portuguese one. The similarities between Spanish and Portuguese are one thing but then suddenly having to adjust to the English PL is another matter. Luis has gone through a hell of a lot since last November but he's undoubtedly a regular in the current LFC team. Pure tenacity, fortitude, persistence. He made a mockery of Man City's defence yesterday. Glad we didn't wait to sign him up. Just needs the final touch which will come. Lots more to come.
