I sincerely miss this kind of simple music. There is nothing being produced/promoted in Country Music like this except Chris Stapleton (who managed to slip in on his own merits and fans ate it up because we need it!) Just wish the top brass could see that, huh? I'm happy to see Lukas keeping this sound alive for those of us who seek.

Lucas this song has a sad story ,and your dad gave it to his fans years ago! I couldn't stop playing it during the late 80's,when I was living the song. Lukas,you had me in tears while listening to your beautiful version.. Although it was a sad period in my life,this song is so beautiful I had to play it ,somehow it makes heart feel good! Well that takes a sad country song to a new level. Sound so much like your dad in this one. ... I know, yes, you’re his son. But it’s the deeply beautiful way you’re expressing sadness with such beautiful music, you feel the pain in the song, but you just can’t be sad when you hear it because it’s just so darn beautiful 💜
