I agree completely. The writers really broke our hearts by splitting this couple up. Now that Genie is back full time on GH, they need to convince Tony to come back and reunite this amazing couple. Even if Tony doesn't stay that long, he needs to come back. He and Laura need to reconcile and have an amazing and powerful reunion. Luke needs to be sober and dump Tracy and realize who he has always loved. Kevin is no match for Laura, she needs her Luke.

I read the transcripts 4 this storyline, I didn’t realize Helena’s poison helped Luke see how he had been so horrible 2 Laura/Nikolas. He admitted he never wanted 2b like his father & Recognises that’s how he was acting. Of course he felt the love 4 Laura again, berated Felicia 2 her face, not included in the transcripts I found. Luke even apologised 2 Nik, wow what a reversal!

Anthony Geary says No way. He will not return to GH. Not positive but I really don't think Luke is a character that could be recast. The chemistry between he and Genie is off the charts. They are definitely acting soulmates as they have both said. However, if they could just talk him into coming back for one more outstanding adventure with Laura and even ending it with Luke dying in her arms I would be very happy. They should be together forever in this life and the next.

I was blessed enough to have had their kind of Love in my Life. We had 35 years together and 4 kids. I lost him on January 5th, 2023 and it truly felt like I lost a portion of my soul. I will never have that type of love again, but Thank God I have my memories.

The writers all need to be fired without pay. The writing is just downright disrespectful at this point.

Unfortunately, TG had a lot to do with LnL's demise. He was tired of playing Luke Spencer and wanted to move on to new roles and acting possibilities. He made his feelings known, and finally got his way.

I think that is why Genie never got bored with Laura, she had other roles in other shows. He should not have been allowed to block Genie from getting a contract in 2002. He should not have been allowed to destroy the LnL romance. Finally, he should not have been allowed to destroy the Luke character that we all fell in love with in 1979. To be honest, if that is how TG was going to continue portraying Luke as someone who hated Laura, I was happy when he left in 2015. Tracy could have left with Luke for all I cared.

Yes I have seen that part here b4 but I have forgotten the background. Luke was crying and laura was dressed in her Lucy wig. Why? I hate to see him cry. 😭

I would too. He would convey such emotion just holding her hand. Age would not matter. Tony would joke about his puppy dog eyes with laura, but like it or not it is his trademark.

@Jolie France I knew that from the start. But we really didn't give it any thought back then. I can't believe how beautiful Genie still is in her late 50's! Bobbie would still be as beautiful if she had not had what appears to be way to much surgery.

But we would not have cared if we had known, because the 70s & 80s were a different time. .I don't know why I said I hate seeing them today, that was a dumb remark. I wish so VERY MUCH that L&L would have been left to walk off into the sunset together. As much as I love "Nick" & "Ethan" anyone who knows their history, knows damn well the whole Nick, then Ethan story line is not possible!! Laura DEF would have told Luke about her son, and make no mistake Stavro's would have gladly thrown Nick in Luke's face. Plus Holly was in a coma at the time these writers would like us to believe Ethan was born. Luke & Tracy were funny together, they made a geed comic team (I mean that respectfully NOT sarcastically). But they had zero chemistry as lovers. They came off as best friends not lovers.

The age difference was ALWAYS out in the open. It was kind of a big deal at the time, he being 15 years older than her 17 years. Now, all these years and decades later, not so much. BTW, Tony turns 76 on May 29, 2023, and Genie turns 61 on May 26, 2023. How time has flown! RIP, Jaclyn Zeman.

The age difference between TG and GF is painfully apparent. I never liked the 15 yr. age difference between them. Now it's like he could be her father. They still act so well together
