My dad was a truck driver my whole life, when I turned 18 I joined the service and did a 13 month tour in the middle east. Last week I lost my dad to a tragic truck accident. EVERY SINGLE VERSE of this song hit home and hurts so much, yet I can't stop replaying it. Thank you Luke

Listening to this song reminds me of my grandpa for a couple reasons. He served in the Navy as well as the Air Force. Another reason it reminds me of my grandpa is he lost his 2 1/2 year battle to pancreatic/liver cancer on January 6th, 2023, and I had a great relationship with him so it has been hard without him.

I have a hard time listening to this song. I'm a father and my 18 year old son is about to leave to start his life. I've always been there for him and always will be there but not having him in my house is tough. Really tough.
