Bedouin Cook and Survive EXTREME HEAT (no rain in years) 🇴🇲 Food in Oman's HOT Desert!

With temperatures going above 50°C in the summer and no rain for years this is some of the most EXTREME conditions to survive! These are the Bedouin of Oman. Deep in the desert nomadic Bedouin people travel across the desert with their animals following the grass. Badar is our Bedouin guide for the day and we've got an incredible day of eating scheduled!
First off as with any introduction in Oman is the compulsory coffee and dates. This time we're brewing saffron and cardamom coffee on wood fire. So simple and so good!
For the food we're cooking orseya (a rice and meat porridge) and goat meat seasoned and grilled on rocks. These guys are seemingly unaffected but the sweltering heat, but do note that it is increasingly getting hotter in the desert due to climate change.

@@crabmusic1 There is an old Arab Bedouin saying: I, against my brothers. I and my brothers against my cousins. I my brothers and my cousins against the world. That is jungle law. It is the way of the world when the world is thrown into chaos. It is our job to avert that chaos, to fight against it, to resist the urge to become savage. Because the problem with such law is that if you follow it, you are always fighting against someone. As A bedouin from yemen thanks for your respect

That heat I can feel it through the screen, when I lived in Saudi its just as hot, everywhere is ac so feel good but when we had get togethers in the outdoors I would melt but this is in the desert! Its way too hot but you did well still talking calmly most people not used to that kind of heat can get frustrated lol I hope Ming was sitting in the car with full blast ac while most of the filming lol.
