That first duel is prime example of why XX- Saber can never receive legacy support without giving Gottoms an errata that makes his effect a hard once per turn. Now that final duel was the chef's kiss!

I mean. They did get legacy support already, the bones of the deck are just too bad by modern standards to make it good.

@@lamiaprincess6371 The legacy support was a single spell during the Arch-V. Yeah the core of the deck is woefully obsolete, but again because of Gottom's effect they can't get a new core for the archetype without an errata for Gottoms.

@@Tokumastu1 It was technically two! I don't really think it has anything to do with Gottoms personally. Konami has no problem printing archetypes with previously broken handloops legacy support (Gishki), or printing decks with FTKs legacy support (Gem-Knight), its just that how they do it is scattered and random. Tellars have gotten two waves of legacy support, Evilswarm have gotten exactly zero.

I went up against runick spright with my metaphys, they stuck on until all their spright were banished so I’ll give credit for them not giving up

As an avid 60-card Metaphys player, the sad part is that Spright Runick can still outgrind you and Floodgate Runick will just just lock you down and banish all your S/T removal lol

@@porgeporgeporge Yeah, it seems like Banish Pile really targets all the people who do decently against Runick Spright. From all the Spright lines I see, it's easy to play around Banish Piles in such a way that they need to draw the nuts (Kinda hard in a 60 card pile). Is this the case, or am I misreading the Spright plays?

@@JackofCookieJars the thing with pile decks is, usually you have a line. if you're stopped right at the start, that's usually game. If they let you start mill gaming, it's joever And if they use Maxx C, they have a death wish and I am happy to oblige

that final duel is basically my personal nightmare I want to have happen once as a dedicated mill player. Runick ills reatest advantage is banishing the cards- until you see THAT.

I like the first duel because like, the guy set up all the pieces for telefon ftk. It's already an ftk. You don't need to handloop you can just ftk.
