Nobody expects the second Fortress Dragon

They're afraid of Summoned Skull, high level Fiends, and Red Dragon Archfiend intermingling too closely. And considering the Resonators used to make RDA stuff are also a Fiend archetype, I don' t blame them for wanting to be a bit cautious. We all know how Dragon Link turned out when they let their guard down.

They sorta are with the 2013(14ish?) stuff, but unfortunately they haven't dont anything like that since commander and emperor and heiress

okay let me rephrase, it is the only deck where i like the idea of contact fusing with BOTH sides of the field as a disruption

​@@Nightmare_52I would agree, if it wouldn't outright kill all machine decks if it ever is viable again.

CyDra is the reason no machine deck, especially CyDra itself, can ever be T1 or high T2.

I also got brain damage from that player but for more reasons... out of ALL the fusions to summon... he picks D'arc. If he made cursed king with both darc and lamia then I'd understand but no... gilgamesh into dues.

@@no_more_hero2657 Yeah at that point I wondered what his extra deck even looked like because he forgot about the synchro once and is playing the most mid fusion that fusion is completely pointless half the time if you actually scale the 0 scale

Possessed Partnership's grave effect can activate Unpossessed from grave, so by searching and pitching the Unpossessed it can be activated for followup next turn which speeds it up a little. It also lets you get some value out of Possessed Partnership as just grave fodder if it gets popped or pitched, as that would let you use its grave effect a turn earlier so Unpossessed is live turn 2. It's not fantastic, but it DOES make the board a little stickier and adds a little extra to your follow up plays- and as a charmer player it makes me smile.

@@Cloudchaser_K also a charmer player, so honestly I freaked a bit when I saw Nefarious actually search partnerships. Also no idea how I forgot it’s grave effect. I don’t run it in my current build since it’s extremely going second and the traps on field effect is too slow to risk bricking on it, but every time I lose an awakening I regret not having the damned thing. To me it feels too bricky to really run it, but then again, my deck’s currently basically an adventure, charmer, skystriker pile that exists almost exclusively to link climb and punch, so can’t really argue with it or the results.

@@morallygary9098 I tend to run it because when I'm running charmers I mostly do a DPE control kinda strategy with a small dogmatika punishment package- get nefariouser, search unpossessed, make verte, DPE then flip unpossessed on the opponent's turn. Popping my own monsters to trigger unpossessed and select for an appropriate charmer after I see what the opponent's up to is the focus of the deck so it kinda lives and dies by unpossessed being live so obv recovering it is nice. I can't really call it a competetive strategy- it's mostly just fun.

@@Cloudchaser_K it do sound pretty fun honestly. Too many bricks for my taste though, and even then I don’t have the space in the extra. I run the charmers with a small skystriker package, the basic adventure package, two awakenings, two spirit charmers, and one of each of the links. Then a ton of going second cards. My strategy is to get as much damage as possible on field going second to either blow enough of my opponent’s resources to ruin recovery, or kill ‘em outright. It can not function at all going first unless I draw Hiita and a special summon after getting ashed, but it works and fits the “steal your crap,” vibe I like to go for when I duel. Sure I could craft a full tearlament deck, but why do that when I can use your Kaleidoheart instead? Plus comes with the added benefit that sometimes my opponent has no idea what I’m doing. Rarer in diamond, but I still sometimes see someone try to pop a charmer with awakening on field, which brings me immense joy. And to be fair to your deck, DPE can be a free pop with awakening and a charmer. Really fun interaction I found after we finally got Link Dharc. So it has two ways to screw someone over while benefiting you.
