It's officially been a month with my starter locs! In this video I discuss some of the changes I've seen in my hair and the products I've been using.

This is so inspiring!!!! I just locked my hair a week ago and I’m so excited for the journey. I started with 2 strand twist. I’ve been loose natural for about 6 yrs. Thank you for sharing your journey

Your video’s have been popping up for me to watch. I think this is my third video 😂. Any ways, I’m hoping with in a year, my hair will be your length. I don’t want to start mine small. When the time comes, it will be my second set in years. I’m in Florida so this heat will just kill me, coming from Cali. I hate the heat. So, I’m hoping this second round for me works out better. The first time I had no idea what I was doing. I was 22 years old then, now I’m 37. I know more now, than I EVER did. Good luck on your journey. I can say, once they really loc, they grow extremely fast for some reason. But the top part of your head may be the last spot to loc. You’ll see.

I first started with comb coils but my hair texture couldn’t hold on to that I had to switch to the interlocking. You can wash your hair with no problem
