Voyager did a few covers of fellow artists if I remember well (their cover of Adam Lambrou is in the 2023 playlist) and some other contestants did Eurovision songs of other years. Last year one did Amar Pelos Dois. And this year Slimane is covering Voilà! Looking forward to that! 🧡

It holds a special place in my heart, not just as a contest, but as a celebration of unity, shared passion, and mutual respect among artists and those who cherish music. It's both admirable and moving that a contestant has opted to perform another's song from the competition. Let some people who call themselves "fans" take their cue from this instead of being a nuisance by engaging in needless, petty criticism against artists and their hard work!

@@user-ti8et6gh5z it's just a matter of personal taste, I guess. Slimane has undoubtedly an incredible voice and his version sounds more classic. Luna doesn't have a powerful voice, but I find her version more modern. In any case this is a nice song 🙂

@@framerate13 Personnellement je ne sais pas ce que cela veut dire vraiment ce mot et le sens de modernité.Pour moi, par exemple juste en prenant juste un seul exemple déjà, sur le vainqueur dana international en 1998 en etant juste lui même simple et sans représentation revendicative sur scène,,les choristes la chanson,, sa voix ,la mélodie, la musisue est beaucoup plus moderne que le vainqueur nemo de 2024 et aussi pas mal d autres vainqueurs aussi également des années déjà des années 70,80,90,2000 beaucoup plus modernes égalements que le vainqueur de 2024..Et aussi de candidats et candidates qui ne l'ont même pas gagné également. 😊 😊 😊..

That's what intrigues me...must be the female tone - of course Slimane has a very powerful voice but we are somehow "tuned" to like certain voices more than others - she sounds fantastic (this much better than The Tower) - in a way I redescovered Mon Amour thanks to her performance.

@@stefanogortaldi3156 I just thought that if I were French and heard her singing a French Eurovision entry cover somewhere on the Internet, and in French, I would probably connect with her better and would be more inclined to support her. Even if it’s The Tower that is in the actual competition.

@@stefanogortaldi3156 And about the two songs, I actually prefer The Tower to the other one for this particular contest, because for me Eurovision is fun, I want something upbeat and uplifting, while the other song, although quite beautiful, is a bit too dramatic for me. But that’s just me.

@@Ally-xw5sm There's plenty of upbeat songs this year...in my view The Tower like Olly's Dizzy lack the extra hump to stand out (both in the top 20 of my list). The Tower doesn't show the best from Luna...just like Nutsa (Georgia) is another great singer with a "not so good" song.

@@Ally-xw5sm I see. I assumed because video was about Poles in fact. 😄 I see, I also like Luna's song, it's one of my favorites, but this year I have quite a lot of favorite songs. Most of them are cool, comparing to previous year when most of them were boring and I had only 3 or 4 favorite ones. By the way, I don't like our song, neither I liked our song from previous year. 😄 Alright, no problem, it can remain a secret & I see, anywhere here is safe and as a city, Ljubljana is the most interesting and alive city. And as always, big cities and capital cities are more dangerous than small and not that important ones. Makes sense, right. But still it's not a rule and in Slovenia is overall very safe so you shouldn't be worrying. And about nature, well you won't see it in Ljubljana. 😄 And yes, have a nice trip and time!

It's such a relief to get into comment section under foreign video of Luna and read lots of positive comments. Poles hold such venomous hatred towards artists from our home country. It's horribly devastating.
