We've had two-parters. We've had specials. And now we've had parallel episodes! This is where the show embraces a new sense of continuity. The dovetailing of "Lies" and "Truth" was so clever, and between them they brought the alternative couplings ("Lukannette" and "Adrigami") to much sooner ends than we watchers had anticipated. On the subject of anticipation, of course there is still the question of which part(s) of the Love Square might re-emerge, and also of whether there might be a Reveal. Clearly, that's what "Truth" and "Lies" are setting us up for, though nothing more is done than setting up; for answers to the questions, it's a case of watching further and waiting. "Lies" also deviates, refreshingly, from the established formula of the series to date. Like Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek, or Columbo or Hercules Poirot, Marinette is in every single episode and usually has a lot of time on screen, whether as herself or as Ladybug, whilst Adrien gets short shrift - there have actually been quite a lot of episodes (including "Truth") in which he barely appears, or even doesn't appear at all except as Cat Noir. The tables get turned here, though, with Adrien very much to the fore and Marinette only appearing for about a minute near the beginning. That bodes really well for the characterisation of season 4. We get a sense that the creators are about to flesh out the supporting cast and give them a chance to shine, to an extent that so far has only been afforded to Marinette, Adrien and perhaps Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth. Incidentally, this episode establishes a small point that he won't always need the different powers of his two Miraculouses; he uses both simply to exert control over the two Kwamis - ultimately, he wants to control them all, as we know from "Sandboy" - and to keep his options open. 5:00 Well, she may not have appeared physically in the video, but Maddie was your special guest star all the same!

I absolutely LOVE the new theme song! Fun fact it’s actually sung by the French artists Lou and Lenni Kim who are the original singers in the French version. I like how it gives it a more authentic feel with their French accents! Their English version of the song is my absolute favorite!

This episode made me so mad because Even tho adrien and kagami were a couple adrien still flirted with ladybug and he still says he loves her thats kinda cheating and it makes me upset that adrien just forgot about kagami and decided to make move on ladybug while he was still with kagami

Oh- You really want to start season 4 wow! It's an amazing season BUTTTTT some episodes are not out yet, maybe you know, but if you don't I'll tell you. The most recent one is episode 5, it's not out yet, I don't think its a very important episode but still, please don't jump to ep 6 cause I know that you like to watch them in order and stuff.. ( I hope you have the right order) Other episodes are not out but they are at the ending zone of the season (20, 23, 24, 25, 26) Other than that, I am very happy that you want to continue watching and I can't wait for your reactions I'm sure they will be amazing ✨

if i’m not in school then i’m out at dinner! i better be free next Monday, i am NOT missing another chair fall. why did Mari go to Luka if she still prefers Adrien? remember, a big part of the S3 finale was her trying to read the Adrigami dynamic, eventually concluding that she should just let them date each other. so she went to Luka in an attempt to move on, which did NOT work. this episode was oddly poetic, huh? the idea that if we rid the world of liars, then everyone will die… yes, with this season, it is very common for episodes to take place one day after the previous, or some time period like that. although, remember, not even a year has passed in canon, so it’s likely that this was the case in previous seasons as well, but we didn’t notice because of the lack of event connection. yes, your Ladynoir thing made sense. and one more thing! we just found out that the show’s rating will be changing in season 5, from TV-Y7 to TV-G. in other words, season 5 will be a touch more mature than season 4…we are all excited!
