And by the way I started watching your videos about 3 months ago .now my missis is giving me ear ache as I'm now the proud owner of 4 rods reels and dozens of lures .I've been out 4 times 2 blanks and caught on two .I almost s##t myself when I caught my first pike only a couple of pound Jack. But I was up down the bank celebrating like I'd scored the winner in the world Cup. So thanks boys for getting me into pike fishing

Great video as usual guys ,, for your peg by the garden you could use gabion baskets full of rocks and capped with concrete, they are very sturdy and last a lot longer than a wooden platform , I put some in a local lake in the early 90’s and they were only removed three years ago when the council shut the lake down, because they’re tw*ts 👍👍🤠

Probably worth getting a landscaper out first lads and level everything there before you start any building. I would Install aload of bank back boards and build your garden bank up to it with aload of gravel and top soil up to the waters edge. Also I'd crush up and remove all that concrete and slabs too, it will just get in the way of the decking foundations. Reckon going as wide as possible to all the usable ground space would do you better than just a protruding deck hanging off the end of that path. You can then use the solid bank boards as a level foundation to your decking. Hope it all works out! I would love a project like that in my back garden

I'd go with scaffold poles to make up the frame work and depending on how pretty you want it to look either scaffold boards or for cosmetics, decking boards. Got to be the quickest easiest way.

Hi Guys, another great Video. If You look at most of the Canal Decking, It Is floating on Barrels. I owned a Narrow-boat for many years, and I saw miles of different Decking s. I would cut trees back, then Level the ground right back to the steps all the way across. I would put Shuttering all round the place You are going to put the Decking. Then Pump out the water. Level It off at the bottom. Then Put In a Thick Plastic Membrane In the Hole (Like making a Fish Pond) Then Pour In Concrete Up to the top, and level off. When fully dry take off the shuttering, Job Done. You also need to think about a Hording of some sort, to keep the rain and Snow and sun off You while You are Fishing. If I wasn't Broken. I would love to come give You and hand. Keep 'Em Coming.

Good vid again boys, we use the old Scaffold poles with joins and treated scaffold boards did us right for our swims. What’s happening with stocking any idea yet lads also I could take some of the Lilly root and move them about to create more Lilly beds if needed

Loving the video lads, have you thought about using scaffolding poles as a frame for the peg and decking boards for the base

Funny thing with the swans is, put a pile of food on the bank where they can see it and they should go for that instead, other than that love the content lads. 🎣🎣

If its shallow, hard and flat just stack it up on some pavers, 6 x 2 decking like a shed base screw to bank with a few posts in ground, could even float the 6 x 2 further out then the pavers, but keep it simple. I would love to have that garden, i will be building more then fishing i think.
