Hmm its really two different types of lights, and each has their strengths. I would have to say tube lights are better if you want broad soft lighting. Panel lights are normally more directional and harsh, so you have to add diffusion. I would more likely use a tube light for interviews over a panel light. But if you are not doing interviews, and want to throw a spot on a background, then a panel light would work better. So really they are different and used differently. It depends on the person, and i’m not sure what you work on. Of course there’s no reason you shouldn’t own more than one type of light. We all do!

@@MrCheesyCam Thanks Man. lol Yeah I like the way the Luxli lights look on products but then I saw you do the product demo with he 1 ft Came tv Andromeda tubes and it looked great too.... and more affordable. But the Luxli's seem more Professional and I like the ability to pick the Gels.

During the product overview I have several other bright lights on, so it’s not an ideal setup for accent lighting. But I just finished a project with these lights which I’ll have a video for and you can see how we used it. I have some BTS on my instagram. Keep following as i’ll share that video soon.
