This time we will take a ferry trip from Yawatahama Port to Beppu Port aboard Uwajima Unyu Ferry's "Akatsukimaru".
The tour includes a look at the luxurious first-class cabin, the newly renovated Yawatahama Ferry Terminal in April 2022, and Yawatahama's specialty, Yawatahama Champon.
Although we were unable to board the newly built "Reimei Maru," which will enter service in June 2022, the "Akatsukimaru," which has been in service for eight years, is a magnificent ferry with a high level of satisfaction.
Uwajima Unyu Ferry also offers a late-night service, but I highly recommend the daytime service, when you can open the curtains and enjoy the front view.
