For your shoes buy some Metatarsal Pads. They stop your feet from sliding and add cushioning.

I would contact them about the Jimmy Choo shoe and tell them your issue. It may be a defect with that particular shoe or they just might want to do something to keep you happy. You never know. I would try. They aren't cheap.
