The automotive industry & the gambling industry have done a ton of research on colors... In some cases, different colors were used in select businesses to attract one gender over another and one race over another... Years ago certain Casinos in Vegas used Reds & Purples in their equipment & decour to attract gamblers from Asia...Other products target women or men...Any opinions?

I just watched 9 TV commercials. 8 had people of color. One happened to be three white people. Given the current population ratios, that is not a true representation of national makeup. SO, why are the advertisers doing this ? (MONEY). So, are the companies marketing to people of color ? Or are they social warriors ? And MANY ads have a black guy with a white woman, often blonde ? Never the other way. The people are just actors, probably don't even know each other. What do the advertising company psychologists know that I don't ? Do people purchase because of this ? Thanks.
