everyone complaining about the sound, you do realize this was recorded off a cellphone. As good as cellphones are now a days, they cannot make up for a properly mixed live recording coming straight off the board. That being said, Lzzy's voice is in a lower sonic range than Chris'. There is a pretty steep rolloff of the bass tones on this recording which would account for some of the lower volumes from her mic but yeah, they could have bumped up her level. Also, yes, the tuning was off on that guitar. Most noticable on the the solo.

I was 20 feet away from Jerry Cantrell singing this at the Wellmont a few weeks ago. Chris does a great job here. I am disappointed my the low levels for Lzzy as others are - I bet she rocked this with him!

Layne was one of the greatest rock singers of all time. He’s tied with my all-time favorite John Lawton of Uriah Heep/Lucifer’s friend, who was the pinnacle of vocal perfection.

Nah, she's got some chops on her, she's just singing in a range thats just too low. Like she and Chris are trying to sing the same parts and it sounds odd. I've seen them do this together before and the parts they sing separately are better.
