木工作業台の新しい形/Workbench - new style

Far East Wood

I loved the video. I couldn’t help to notice that you edited out the trains going by. If you are comfortable with the trains, than so am I. As a wood worker also I am always looking for techniques to add to my own skills. After 35 years there is not much left to learn, however I have learned some new things from you. Thank you from Texas.

6:59 to 7:15 A dado blade in a hand-held circular saw? I didn't think it was possible. Results excellent! I thought the wood dust at the end was about a microsecond from exploding if the sparks from the armature brushes in the vacuum motor set it off. (skeptics see 2015 Taiwan Water Park explosion).

I am wondering about that machine, but it has a chip exhaust port, it must be a wood grooving machine. A strange beast between a planer and a (handheld) circular saw... Can't find it on google though..

@@AndreiIR000 That word "grooving" I didn't think of until you wrote it but that term does turn up a couple Makitas; maybe not available in all countries and maybe not exactly what he used in the video; here is a cut and paste: Makita CA5000X 4-5/8" Aluminum Groove Cutter Milling Machine SKU CA5000X $639.00 www.festoolproducts.com/makita-ca5000x-4-5-8-aluminum-groove-cutter.html Blades $145.00 and $130.00 4-5/8" Dia. C.T. Saw Blade, 90º (A-96132) Cuts 90 and 135 degree variable speed 2200 to 6400 rpm Works very similar to the Festool PF 1200 E-Plus Alucbond aluminum milling machine which is not currently available in the United States. This one looks kind of similar as well but uses a larger diameter blade: Makita XPS01Z 36-Volt 6-1/2-Inch X2 LXT Cordless Plunge Circular Saw - Bare Tool $349.00

Thank you for this video. I love the music , what is it ? By the way it's verry refreshing to see anything about workbench and even woodworking in general that is not a copy of Roy Underhill, Chris Shwartz or Norm Abram. Don't get me wrong, i have the biggest respect for those three guys. It's just do we realy need 10's of clones of them ? I just prefer watching the original. Your work is original both in the design and the Japanese aproach of woodworking. So Thank you for waking me up after so many youtube woodworking (clone) video started to bore me. Just my 2cents

I borrow these music from the free bgm website "DOVA-SYNDROME". kzfaq.info/get/bejne/etppmKWbr8q4mpc.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/h6uaaa2Clc-viZc.html I am grateful for your opinion and I agree. While I have the respect for great pioneers in the woodworking, I always keep in mind that I do not make their copies. I aim at my work being original. But it is difficult for me. Sometimes I learn from their videos... I am sorry I cannot express that I want to say well. Because I am not good at English. Anyway, thank you for your comment.

Nice work, indeed. My congratulations. It deals with an original and out of rules project. I think it might be considered as a portable workbench, too. I see you cut the sliding dovetails with your circular saw; it seems a good idea, even if it can be more difficult compared to hand made cut. What about? More, What kind of wood is it ? Thanks very much and all my best. Giuliano, Italy

I Would add small patches of leather to the clamping area of the hold downs especially when working with finer woods or when repairing something. Just another brilliant setup!!

@fareastwood
@fareastwood 5 жыл бұрын

That must be quite a difficult cleanup job when all the sawdust gets into all the slides and runners though . you must surely spend 1/2 your worktime with the vaccuum cleaner,no?Seems an overly complicated way to clamp things when a few dog holes would do. still ,it is different . maybe more a work of art or furniture than a proper ,useful working bench.
