With slight modifications to the EGO SSA1200 12” Snow Shovel Attachment it works with the Milwaukee M18 Fuel QUIK-LOK Power Head. (2825-20)
Please be aware that these modification would likely void any warranties.

I appreciate the efforts put in here to make this work, in fact its what made me so confident in buying the ego snow shovel to use with my 2825-20. However after getting it together I can confirm the only modification to the ego portion is the removal of the little plastic tab on the bottom. Based on your 2825 plastic receivers tolerances you may also need to remove the yellow alignment sticker from the ego bar. I am writing this right after assembly, in fact my hands are still cold from getting back from the garage (winter in Canada). Both accessories keyed spline tips are about 30 mm from the bottom of their retaining cutout, where the 2825 latches onto the accessories shaft. The shaft slides in about 98 mm (this being the reason you may need to remove the sticker) and goes together with zero modification to the spline. For clarification, my 2825 is in very good condition and it was the first time I had ever removed the weed whip attachment so the fit is fine. hope this helps anyone else looking to combine these two products, as unfortunately 1plumberjoe statement from 1 year ago still seems to be not so safe to say. haha.

Really great work getting an amazing attachment to work. Unfortunately Ego seems more proactive in making a wide variety of trimmer attachments than other companies.

What AH size M18 battery were you using and how long did it last? The EGO runs on a 56V battery. I wonder if the EGO's wiring would get stressed since you are using a 18V battery.

I’m now using the new M18 Forge battery which is rated at 6AH / 108Wh on the Milwaukee M18 Power Head. The EGO unit doesn’t have electronic components so it’s just a mechanical connection between the two. I haven’t had any issues.

Just bought the ego snow shovel. All I had to do was trim the small plastic piece and it fit perfectly. Seems to be seeted farther down then in the video. No mods to the splines.
