How’d you get the backrest to match perfectly to the seat? I have similar diamond stitches seat. Want to do the same to my backrest. Lmk, thanks! Bike is awesome 👏🏻

Both the seat and the backrest are Saddleman brand. You can customize the stitching on their website, after you select the backrest style you want. saddlemen.com

Appreciate it Waleed A.G.. If I was going to order another mounting bracket, I'd try a "triangle sissy bar pad mounting bracket." You'll find a lot of them online just by doing a quick google search. Just make sure the bracket mounting holes line up with the mounting holes on the sissy bar pad you choose to go with. When in doubt, you could also contact the sissy bar manufacturer and ask them what mounting bracket they recommend. Hope this helps.

This video is exactly what I was looking for. I love the Etsy sissy bar you have but was like damn they don’t have a mount for the backrest which then I just recently round saddlemen sells backrests and first video that came up was yours with the same sissy bar! Do you have the link for the triangle mount you used in the video? I currently have my passenger breaking in the rear seat, how long did it take before Jackie was comfortable with the seat? It’s been about 50 miles I think of someone riding it but just now softening up the passenger gel

Nice, I’m glad it helped. The Burley Brand Plate is under $20, so it’s a good option. Here is the link: www.burlybrand.com/product/91/slotted-face-plates-for-hex-air-cleaner As far as the seat, Jacci doesn’t mind it in town but she has mentioned that it wouldn’t be great for a long trip (honestly we haven’t taken one together just yet). I didn’t think about break in time, so I’m glad you mentioned that. I know they make pads you can fill with air and sit on for more comfort, so I’ve had that in the back of my mind for when we plan a longer ride. She has zero complaints about the sissy bar pad, she loves it and she barley hangs on to me at this point.

@@Idahoup that’s perfect! I live in miami so it’s just city riding on my Sportster and glad she doesn’t need to hold on! My issue was she kept sliding off a bit and had to scoot up! You’ve been a blessing thank you brother god bless 💪🏼

Hey man have you had any problems with the pad slipping or falling down at all? I have the same bar on the way and I want to get a pad to match my seat but I'm having a hard time finding a proper mount.

when I go to buy that burly brand air cleaner plate, will it make a difference what model I buy it for? Obviously we aren't using it for the its intended purpose, but I was curious as I was ordering

No, I’m fairly certain that the plates are all the same size. Mine came off of a Harley Davidson Roadster air cleaner.

@@Idahoup So this product has been discontinued with Burly Brand, could I trouble you for a diagram of that plate , dimensions, hole locations etc. so I can fabricate one? I am planning to buy the exact sissy bar and sissy bar pad you are using. I would be happy to pay you for your time.

@@markfowler373 I've actually got a few kicking around my garage, because they sent me the wrong one a few times when I ordered a different plate design. I can send you one for free if you want? You can use my email to send me your address. Just keep in mind they've been kicking around my garage, so they might not be in perfect condition (few scrapes & scratches).
