This is a quick video on how I installed the Saddlemen Sissy Bar Pad. This is to match the lattice stitching on my Road Sofa. I torqued the bolts to 60 in/lbs based on a previous Harley Davidson pad I had.

For what Saddlemen charges, ya think that they would poke the stupid holes in it for you. Hahaha. Looks really nice. Now it will be a nice comfy ride for two on the way to VAMM21.

The sissy bar pads are designed to fit a few different configurations ( which is why the holes aren't punctured by us). Thanks!

That looks really good on the bike. I would've expected them to have already done the legwork as far as the mounting instructions. If you're not certain about the torque specs, just use your best judgement and some blue loctite. That should do it.

I'm looking at getting the same setup but I don't have a harley branded sissy bar. Mine looks same as yours though. Any chance that I could get the hole spacing measurements center to center on yours? Thanks great video!

You mean the diagram? Does yours have a bracket?
@SinisterClutch
@SinisterClutch 3 жыл бұрын
Bottom bolts center to center 4 1/2 inches. Bottom to top is 3 1/4 inches

Do you think the pad is higher than the stock harley sissy bar pad?
@SinisterClutch
@SinisterClutch 2 жыл бұрын
Where the bolts are positioned it’s the same. The Saddlemen pad is more rounded at the top vs the stock pad. So any height gained is based on the shape. I hope this helps.
