Hello my Beautiful People! Welcome back and welcome to the first day of Spring! March 19 is the date of the Persian New Year this year, and it is such a lovely celebration of blooming flowers and a return of Sunlight! I wanted to do a ring pour using some happy Spring colors, lets get started!
I am using my Tracie Reed Split Cup, you can find them at www.acrylicpouringtools.com

There is NO Silicone
in Any of My Paint.
soooo,, the first pour was interesting in the center, with that flower pattern that was created by spinning the spinner while doing the ring pour. I personally was not really happy with the amount of blending, it looked a little murky and hazy for my taste. I pour again using my 10 ounce split cup with a handle from www.acrylicpouringtools.com. I love how much brighter and bolder the colors are with the split cup pour!

PS Thank you for sharing the party video at your dad's. That table of S- things was awesome..I love seeing how other cultures do things at their parties and the little smidget of your dad's pool in the background deserves an adaboy adaboy forsure lol xoxo

I loved the composition of the first pour and the bright colors of it. The second pour was gorgeous as well, you really make it hard to not like one over the other Mina!! 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The Prussian blue made such a great contrast to your delicate pinks, and I loved the design being slightly off centre, much more natural and organic. Gorgeous results as always Mina and happy new year 🎉❤

Happy New Year! Loved the split cup pour! I found straight pours on rounds and spinning work best but sometimes it takes me a second cup to get a pleasing composition. The first cup is the learning one unless I get lucky😂😂

You are teaching me and have been for a long time. My health has kept me down and out, but I'm trying to come back, so I'm still trying to heal, so I'll be doing pours and will more than likely mention you and HOA for the great teachings you have bestowed upon my brain 😂 I love it. Oh what question did I have today. Oh I know how much paint do you use per the gel and Floetrol. I believe I remember you saying one to one on everything but Floetrol and that is about 6 to 8 oz is that correct then water as needed? Thank you guys. Your awesome. I hope to meet y'all one day ✌️

Hi Jamie! I'm glad you are feeling better! To mix the gel gloss pouring medium it's about a 1:3 or 1:4 ratio of gel gloss to Floetrol. Start with the gel gloss and add just a bit of Floetrol and mix it, then keep adding Floetrol a little at a time until its liquid.. then you can add more Floetrol at a time. You can also add some water at the end to get it to the consistency you need for that pour. Once the pouring medium is ready, I put a couple of ounces in a cup, add about an ounce of paint, then combine. After its mixed up I add Floetrol to fill the cup and stir, then boom! Your paint is ready for pouring! Good luck!! ❤️

@@MinaVillegasArt thank you so much. I've been using too much paint which caused me to add more Floetrol. Girl I had it all backwards. Thanks again and I'm doing better. I'm going to be okay. God's got me, and I have my paint family. I hope you're doing better. Have you got a Baxter Jr yet? Not trying to scratch a sore, but it's the only thing that saved me was helping a rescue. I still miss my girl, but my new girl is my new cuddle buddy. Take care and thanks a million and one! ❤️

10:32 I think you should have left it the way it was after the really big spin. I wouldn't have put anything else on it. I thought it was beautiful.
