The Dollar Store and the Dollar Tree are similar stores, so be sure to check out both for your embroidery supplies.

There are so many things that you can get at the dollar store for embroidery! Measuring tapes, pins, needles nice scissor packs - quite a few things you need to get started! Generally we call all of these types of stores "the Dollar Store" but the one that we go to in this video is actually called Dollarama. We will be going to the Dollar Tree too, but I will probably still call it a Dollar Store. I just can't help myself.
We also pick up some things that you can embroider on - perfect little squares of felt in all different colors that will be a grab and go for test stitching on a 4x4 hoop! Some beautiful tulle will make any design look good and can double for the finishing touch as wrapping paper. We find some fabric to test out - and it is on a roll and looks good so far! oh, and embellishmnets - you can find so many embellishments at the dollar store - bling, lace and anything fancy!
