Some further comments since filming. a) the protection side of the product is a bit sort of short lived and not that hydrophobic b) dont hammer the product too hard or it can gum up so work it gently and dont introduce too much heat. other than that once you get up and running I find it a nice product to work with and I like it. Add your thoughts below please.

It's a great product on the right paint, although I agree that the protection side isn't fantastic. It's a nightmare on soft paint though as it flashes instantly when you spread it out. To be honest, the F6 is just a better product all round.

i used this as my first attempt to polish my cars. found it very easy for a beginner to use, and to wipe off. results were impressive. the sealant isnt that effective so i panel wiped and used something i knew worked. the paint on my e46 seems to be quite thin so i have just purchased M3 02 to try.

Great explanation of Kock polishes. When I first started becoming more “involved” in detailing, I used Menzarna polishes. Another great product line. But this summer I invested in a new 5” Rupes DA. And in that process, I switched to their matched system. New revised pads and polishes.Gotta say, it works well. It made maintaining my car easy and for the lack of a better word, fun. I always enjoy your videos Jon. I always learn something new. 👍🏻

Feeling this would be good for a quick one stage quick buff if your topping up through the year. Tempted to cover it again with something f to give it some longevity. For clay and panel wipe effort I may want to spend that extra time with a better longer lsp.

Seems a bit overkill on my New Formula Red Honda S2000 paint since I used their (now old) M2.02 polish on it followed by their very good W0.01 paste wax to protect it. And to get a mirror finish on rock-hard BMW clear coat is a fantastic achievement, well played Jon! I must order up some P6 to see for myself on my brother's Orient Blue T-plate E38 735i. I'll buy 2 x 250ml BECAUSE VERY BIG CAR compared to mine. After I've extended the polish shelf in my bike shed!

I've used this myself on my daily (e61 530d with 195k miles) I was trying it out as a potential for doing single stage enhancements. Great cut/correction but the sealant is poor in my opinion, lacking decent hydrophobicity. I used it with the specific KC pads. I managed the whole car with only two pads. it's a nice product to use but i will just use a pure abrasive followed by an additional sealant instead
@OQDetailing
@OQDetailing 2 жыл бұрын
I used this product and as far as results I really liked the, but for me it would dust very quickly even at 3.5 speed and short cycle on an extremely overcast day with no visible sun outside. I basically had to go over the car again with a quick detailer to make sure I didn't leave any dusting I could have just used a regular polish/compound and followed up with long lasting spray wax instead and would have been a better experience. So because of the dusting I would never purchase again.

Hi, I recently bought a new 2022 Lexus GX460 (a Land Cruiser Prado everywhere else in the world) and I made a mistake by not telling the salesman I didn’t want it washed, just because I had previously bought a new car at that dealer that was near flawless. I found myself watching your video of P601 after a recommendation I received for this exact polish from a detailing forum where I asked for a good one step with photos of my Lexus’ paint. Lexus paint apparently is very very soft and scratches at just the presence of a dry microfiber. I noticed showroom detail guys going at it on another car in the showroom with dry microfibers and no spray detail. It’s not devastatingly swirled/marred but for a new car is horrendous. I ordered a liter of P601, and HexLogic Quantum green pads for my friends Torq machine polisher. I’ve never used a machine. Any tips especially for dealing with the soft paint? I read your update not to introduce to much heat, now that I’ve received my P601 it seems like I’m reading more negative reviews then positive. Ultimately I chose it because you seemed to like it well and most people praised it as a better version of Sonax perfect finish (which was my first choice).
