Hardly what one might call a sophisticated drilling/mining operation. This could have been filmed in the 1800's....minus the ancient 20th century excavator. Could we get clips of "The Greatest Marble Drilling/Mining Accidents." There should be some pretty good squished humans involved.

If you move spoil from other areas of the quarry to create a softer pad for the fall you could avoid uncontrolled splintering like in 9:20, I'm not impressed.

I've been breaking rock and reinforced slabs for decades, they should toss it down on tires, this way it stays in one piece, then they can wire saw the pieces, they're losing so much product that way...

Да не ну что ты там люди гранит руками шлифовали, а потом верёвками тянули и ставили друг на друга. Тут просто машины дохлы какие-то еле тянут блоки, а вот рабы в Гизе норм могли поработать и всё в срок сдавали.
