A strange fear grips me when I release a poem like this. About losing a part of me precious and irreplaceable and at the same time it leaves me with an odd peace as if I decided to step away.
Rest assured, it's not my final verse but the embodiment of my fears, an echo in reverse.
Like an encore that deceives the artist momentarily, while he knows, a death mourned is the first step in the process of rebirth.

Nowadays, I barely sleep
Thinking about how things used to be
About what these streets meant to me
I worry constantly
Thinking about where I will breathe
And about what will it all mean to me
Sometimes, I roam these streets
Noticing the places my body used to be
Seeking fragments from a life I used to live
But time has changed, or is it me?
The world around me seems to grieve
About the friends who were left behind
And the people no one should ever forgive
These streets used to whisper poems about me
Stories of a kid with glass beneath and above his skin
The traveler's son watching everything through a screen
A person like you, unable to feel
A person like me, unable to heal
I pause in between
The chapters of my life as I revisit scenes in my memory
Pointless conversations,
silly arguments
faded pictures
I'm searching for the promises I was supposed to keep
And for you on my chair staring at me
Yet, in this stalemate, I dare to sing
With a voice so fragile as my dreams
The beauty of my anxiety reflected in my speech
A newfound peace, admitting defeat
A reminder of normality, as I forget who I wanted to be
Dreaming about the person I will wake up and my mirror will meet
Choosing a life unsymmetrical and incomplete
I will always remember one thing
These ever-changing streets still hold a grudge and a gift
For the tears I postponed and the stories I never wrote
The poems about a kid
That could be you
Or me
The poems about how I wanted to be a home for you
And you to be for me

A really good poem, i think the best one yet in therms of ryme and writing, but the really oustanding thing about this poem is that you really put in words how it feels losing something in time, because even if you come back at the same places, do the same things, its just gone. its equal parts sad and beautifull, maybe the things we lost are someway going the founded by us or maybe by others. Great job as always

I remember when you released “Goodbye Beautiful Human”, having followed your work of videos for classics and greats and staying for the pieces of yourself you you put through. I heard Beautiful Human as I was starting life over for a third time, and felt seen. I’ve followed you quietly since, damn the algorithm for not showing me your videos recently but thankful I saw this at a time where I needed your words again. I love this poem. It's so beautiful and touching. I understand that "strange fear" that you mentioned. It's so personal, your feelings are exposed to people and you feel like you're naked, vulnerable and a lots of emotions at the same time 'cause you don't want to keep this kind of thoughts for yourself that constantly are haunting you. It's beautiful, the concept and how it resonates with anyone who has felt whatever pain. How the world changes when you feel sad. And how important it is to grief and move on to heal. How Important it is to acknowledge the pain, the loss and let go like a poem that once was yours but now it's mine. It's art.

May i suggest one? The day after her death or my biggest reget (title) I had fought with my mother About the phone she had not bought me for my birthday I was mad I was stupid I went to bed angry and sad Next morning..dad was sad Sister was crying Why? What could it be? Ambulances around our house Could it be realated to me? It was. Indirectly She died Mom died Someone killed her. The day after her death Was spent in greif Sorrow And..guilt I felt like the worst person I felt guilty I felt like i belonged in hell Didnt have lunch Didnt have dinner Beat myself up about it Spent 10 hours on my phone All i did was sit All i did was cry All i did.. Was nothing Nothing at all I hated me I loved her I lost her Why? Why did i spend my last moments with her like that? Why? A question not even i can answer? But we learn We learn to forgive ourselves We learn to accept what has happened We learn..

I rarely comment on KZfaq. Rarely. But I spent the day watching your videos, after finding a comment on another video. I ignored everything around and stayed in a dark room, till night. Your videos are surely talented and beautiful but they brought me very close to offing myself. I felt that they were all telling me that it's okay to give up. Instinct kicked in though. I've been avoiding feelings and thoughts for so long, that I can't stand any of it. Your videos only showed me that everything is dark and not worth living and that giving up is fine. That dying is fine. They made me want to do it. Blackened my soul. I am disabling KZfaq, just another thing I have to shut off. Because if I stay, I won't survive a day longer. I wish I had never opened KZfaq today. When I'm ready to give up, I'll come back to feel, again, that dying is fine. But only then.
