Oh they are! I had one named Lucky & he was so talkative & had the biggest best personality. Had to put him down very young though sadly. He was my BFF 😭

Keep your onions in your fridge; when cold, they don't release the ~substance~ that makes our eyes water.

Here's a really yummy salad dressing recipe that I love and use almost every day: 2 tbsp tahini, 1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce, 1 tbsp dijon mustard, 1 tbsp maple syrup, 1-2 tbsp nutritional yeast, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar, and 2 tbsp water. A lot of ingredients, but it gets me and my bf eating salad every day.

Hey Maddie so glad to see you back I've missed your vlogs I love it when you add recipes to your what I eat in a day video's so Thankyou so much for sharing this with us. Great way to meal pre is have all your veggies pre chopped and stored in containers in the fridge and also meal plan so when you grocery shop you only buy what is needed so there is no wastage and always have stables...

So glad you're back!!! When your eyes are watering really bad from onions, stick your face in the freezer for a bit and that will go away. I know it sounds crazy, but it works like a charm 😁

I am a newcomer to your pages, I did the ballet ab workout this morning after a quick jog. Spent last night watching your food videos for ideas. I'm considering going vegan... I have chronic pain and have been reading how some people no longer struggle with the same pain they did before their diet switch. Much love! Had oatmeal for breakfast. haha!

I like to make homemade granola from the oven. Preferably with lots of nuts, seeds, puffed rice and puffed quinoa. It is simple, fast and delicious! recipe: Take all the ingredients you want in your granola and mix it with a little natural oil ( about 2 -5 tablespoons) and agave syrup (until the mixture is sticky). bake for 30 minutes at 170 ° C (338.0 ℉). Mix the mixture every 10 minutes. If you want chodolade. Take vegan chocolate in pieces and mix it in the last 10 minutes. Let ik cool down completely before you break it in pieces. I like to use pumpkinseeds, sunflowerseeds, linseed, oats, rice and auinoa puffes, hazelnuts, almonds and pecans.

Loved you meal prep, I have been doing the same for years for the 4 member family. I really love to share you videos with my kids, so they so get inspired to cook all by themselves and lead a healthy life. I started putting out few easy recipes that they can follow.

When you cut the onion in half, rinse the onion to cut down the fumes that make your eyes water. Also, if you are cutting a lot of onions, put the diced onion immediately in a tightly covered bowl or container while you finish cutting the other onions. Since I started doing this a few years ago, I have never cried from an onion since.

Hey Maddie! I'm a little late but when cutting onions, I hold a piece of bread in my mouth and it helps to absorb those nasty fumes on their way up to your eyes!! I've also heard that lighting a candle will do the same thing but haven't tried

This was so refreshing to watch. I just finished watching What I Eat in a Day videos of some girl who fasts until afternoon, then eats basically nothing but fruit and green juices. I can’t even imagine how many eating disorders she’s triggering with those! And by the way, she looks anorexic. And I’m not one of those women who call every slim and fit girl anorexic.

New subscriber here, loving your content on this channel as well as MadFit. I love doing your workouts through the week so why not check out this channel I thought. I only cook about once a week lol, but its definitely healthy and vegan. Basically I prepare large portions of one meal, this week it's quinoa with black beans, green bell pepper, onion and some mashed sweet potatoes on the side. I've ate it more than 3 times and I love it ha ha. I cook only once a week because I'm currently studying for a IT certification and working part time while looking for full time work, being active and just scheduling out my days. I'll definitely have to try your curry recipes, I'm obsessed with curry. I love yellow curry! Thanks for taking the time to share your life with us and being so kind. Appreciate that and you!

Hey little tip for the onion tears haha, my friend was a chef for many years and would have to cut and prep full bags of onions and he told me to just breathe through your mouth when cutting them and you won't tear up. Been doing it for a couple years now rarely shed a tear.

Tip: leave the onion in the fridge for say an hour before cutting it up! That way you won't be crying so much lol

A tip that lessens the effects of a runny nose and tears when cutting onions is to peal them and wash them off with water before cutting them. I hope that helps you. It's something that's worked for me
