First time I heard this song, I bawled my eyes out...because I know the pain of not only being bullied, but also how it feels like you're alone in the dark. If you're struggling, I tell you this: You're not alone. You never were. You never have been. If you need help, ask for it. my daughter took her life this past January . I don't know why, I feel like I was never close enough for her to where she would talk to me about anything . I failed as a dad. Play close attention to the little things. And always be there for those you love

This song in particular hits me pretty hard because i was that perpetually bullied kid all throughout primary and high school. Thankfully, i dont live in America or any other country where it was easy enough to get a gun, because to put it completely blunt, i understand how a person can go from a quiet, gentle soul to having the temptations of either taking their own life, or those of the bullies. I cannot count how many times i had thoughts of either or the other, it was almost daily, but in the end i would always pull myself out of it and think about my mother and the few people i cared about and never acted on any of those thoughts. Had i not had the restraint i did, i doubt id be here to write this, though i do still struggle day to day with severe depression. Lifes hard enough for plenty of people. We dont need to make it worse for each other.

Also I just want you to know as a male survivor of being bullied, sexual abuse and as a survivor of a suicide attempt as an adult. Even today, your "Poo-poo, Doo-doo heads comment had me rolling and did in fact have some effect on the guilt I still feel to this day. This song hits home. Was bullied when I was a kid. At secondary school i became the bully myself. As an adult i regret what i did. I even talked with some of the ones i bullied and said im sorry and that i regret it. I tell my Kids everyday that bulling is wrong, and if they see someone being bullied they must stand up for the victim, and tell the teachers.

One kind act or statement can easily buy someone another day, week, year, ect.

Wow, that was a bit intense to say the least. If there is anyone out there thinking of doing this, and are reading my post.. please don't. The world can be a pretty crappy place at times, but it can also be quite wonderful. Please take the time, talk to someone, recognize that you have worth no matter what is happening in your life. If you don't have anyone, I'm here, and so are alot of other subscribers to Maddie's channel. You have a future. Please make sure that you believe it, because it's true. Huge hugs to anyone out there who is feeling alone, afraid, humiliated, or bullied. Give yourself the chance to find that wonderful part of the world that seems out of reach right now, but it's not. Big red flag about friends or family with depression is something called 'the surge'. If someone who has been in a very negative headspace, suddenly gets very happy and upbeat, you need to keep your eye on them, as its a big sign or warning that they have come to terms with the idea of ending it all...

definitely gotta watch out for each other, I do pretty well but have been in combat multiple times as a combat medic, been talking to someone one second and the next picking up the pieces of them, sending their bodies away on a medevac and throwing the rest in a burn pit to prevent spread of disease in a remote location, the cleaning of their weapons and gear to it can continue to be in use. I don't talk to family about it but luckily I have my daughter that snuggles up to me every day but if it wasn't for her I doubt i would have pushed through. Internet can suck at times but it can be good as an outlet, just don't direct your venting at a specific person or group, you can put it out there and get things off your chest that maybe you couldn't speak to loved ones about, watch out for each other ❤

Well let's see about the subjects. I know a lot about it. My fiance killed herself October 15th, 2012. Then my dog died and then my mom had a stroke on Christmas and then she died January 27th, 2013. It got a lot worse because then I lost the rest of my family. And then on 2019 at 5:45 p.m. I was hit at 125 mph head on by a guy that wants to commit suicide and did and the only thing left was his head stuck in my windshield and I died on the operating table. They told me for 20 seconds each and was in a coma for 10 days and became disabled. So if any song I relate to it's this one the most
