36 sq ft is a lot of space. A 4'x8' sheet of plywood is 32 sq ft. Just so you have a visual to go off of. So add another foot to get 36 sq ft 4'x9'

Your cartridge seems flat on the bottom, how does that stay on the bump up you mention? The Big Blue cartridge has you show has a hole to line up with. Your does not?? So how is the bottom better in US Water's? I understand the top double oring positive seal. But what about the bottom?

Many filters we sell does have that hole that goes over that "bump" in the bottom of the housing. The example we used just coincidently does not. Regardless of the filter though, the double o-ring seal at the top will firmly hold the filter in place.

It’s hard to justify the price.. I know it’s made in US and all. But big blue is the same thing for only $22. It’s all in the filter as well.

Actually, depends on your system. Big Blue housing is rated at 100psi maximum. The US Water filter housing is 125psi and certified by multiple organizations. Big Blue housing can flex when squeezed. Not the US Water housing. The US Water black top is thicker and designed for the double seal type filter or the regular flat top filter. Like I said, depends on what your going to use them for. For a portable, in the field water purifier, I'll stick with the US Water housings.

The shipping you guys charge is ridiculous. Products are great but the shipping charge needs addressed. I know you will say we have our prices at wholesale costs , but I’m having a hard time paying 30-60$ for shipping every time I order filters and a UV replacement bulb.

Trust me, we hear you and we are working on it. We don't set the prices for shipping and try to eat the cost when it is feasible. Unfortunately our distribution center is in an area where shipping is extremely high at the moment but I assure you we are in the process of moving locations and costs will come down. I apologize for this in the meantime.
