Woodbury is a real town in South Georgia, but has a different name. Nick and Normans owed by Gregg Nickataro and Norman Reedus is there. Towns real name is Sonioa and is only just bigger than one road.

David Morrissey really does incredibly well playing the role of the Governor.

This is is great and underrated episode. The Governor doesn't some ruthless stuff... and it's still not as bad as what he did to Michonne in the comics.

Fun Facts: In the comics Tyreese was actually introduced into the group before they even get to Hershel’s farm Sasha and the other three characters don’t even exist in the comics. The Governor does get his eye taken out by Michonne in the comics but it’s much more gruesome First off instead of Maggie and Glenn being captured it’s Glenn Rick and Michonne The Governor cuts Rick’s hand off seemingly for no reason He then brutally rapes and tortures Michonne for days Nothing really happens to Glenn I can’t remember if he manages to escape or if they let him go Michonne eventually escapes and ties up the Governor She scoops his eye out with a spoon Cuts his arm off with her katana Drills holes in him with a power drill She leaves him in a pool of blood and he’s presumed dead. Andrea does exist in the comics but in a much different way She’s not on the Governor’s side she never gets separated from Rick and the group.

❤ you guys! I'm not a fan of the governor episodes but this one is really good. Getting an even better picture of what Michonne brings to the table is fantastic. Not knowing how Andrea is going to proceed. Glenn and the undead battle arm. Maggie and the jugular. Darryl & Merle reunion. And goodbye to the Gov-eye. Good stuff. and R.I.P. Oscar.

R.I.P. Oscar. You was a real one. The guvnor had gaslit Andrea so bad she would believe anything he said. If I walk into a room and the woman who saved me is fighting with the man I’m sleeping with, with walkers heads and his zombie daughter there I’m running. Bcuz he’s fuking crazy, no question asked. All this after the guvnor basically reduced her to nothing I can’t even say like his secretary, but he told her go door to door and tell the people calm down. That guvnor Michonne fight always makes me uncomfortable but I’m glad she got his damn eye, I wish she had done more damage but Andrea saved his worthless crazy ass. This was a good episode. Watching y’all make me realize how much I love and miss TWD. So I’m enjoying this ride with y’all 😊

Lord, Andrea’s such a “pick me” with an inflated sense of itself-importance. The “wife” in the picture is Denise Huth, one of the show’s Executive Producer ‘s. I live 10 minutes from Senoia, pronounced se-noy by locals, and it is beautiful. The actual Woodbury is down the road to the South, and looks nothing like that. I’m right around the corner from Carol's yellow cottage and our road got shut down a few times while filming. The covered bridge where they capture Lydia is about 30 minutes away. It’s a beautiful spot and a historical landmark, as it was built by freed slaves. If y’all are ever this way, we’ll give you the ten cent tour & get some dinner at Nic&Normans (owned by Greg Nicotero and Norman Reedus).

Rick having hallucinations of Shane means he still carries that weight of killing him and Carl really is growing up.

I liked that Tyreese has a regular weapon. Imagine how much ammo would be wasted in the chaos when a ZA kicked off. Not many ppl will have access to extra and even fewer will be able to make it. Soon most of the guns available will be just another blunt object. I'd want my group to have a bullet maker 🤔 Andrea grates my SOUL i can't stand her. She's been dickmatized by the governor and turned her back on the one person that saved/helped her.

Get your friend to read the comics between Gov and Michonne. Glad they wrote the show THIS way instead.
