As someone who has depression for years and finally got it under control, let me tell you that working night shift is a large part of your change in mood. Its horrible for anyone to work at night, it literally shaves years off your life, humans aren't meant to be awake at night. But it is especially horrible for someone with preexisting mental health issues. I would encourage you to do everything in your power to move to dayshift, even if that means switching floors. Watch how your life changes.

Where did you get that nurse sweatshit? Its super cute!!! I've seen in it in a few of your videos and its just adorable. Love your videos, thankyou for making them long its really nice to see a long video. Other people who do these types of videos cut it down to 12-15 minutes and its so sad. There is just something so comforting about watching a longer vlog, they make me feel so happy and more connected to the person I'm watching : )

Omg as a senior nursing student and an ICU tech watching the CPR dummy killed me. Ours is sooo annoying you have to move the head juuuust right to get the breaths in 😂 as someone who handles code blues often, the dummy is so unrealistic is frustrating lol!

I have a question and if you don’t answer or don’t want to answer, I would understand. I have always wanted to be a midwife or L&D Nurse, but personally couldn’t handle either losing a patient or losing a patient’s baby. Are you taught what to do and how to cope (per say) with that?

Hi, I am a first year nursing student and have abit of experience to answer this. Personally, the first couple times it will hurt you and you will become distraught 😢. Its just life and the career we’ve chose is nursing and this is a career with ups and downs. Your going to absolutely love patients and watch them grow as they become healthy and leave the hospital or you’ll see them sadly pass away😩. But believe me its a career where I wouldn’t change for the world and in terms of getting through deaths I normally like speaking to my co-workers about it, de-stress coming home taking a bath, Have a therapist, Go out with friends. Tbh it becomes much easier to deal with over time. I hope this helps x

@@laurenjones825 I 100% agree there will be days that you’ll have trauma but as a nursing student we’ve chosen to go into this field and we know there is going to be many traumas and not everyday is going to be good. As long as we speak to people about our bad days and open up and make sure we eat healthily and take care of our mental health. Im so sorry that you went through that and I hope you have healed x

Hey Madi. I love your videos . I just wanted to say this . Do you go and see a chiropractor ? I notice when I watch your videos that you tend to favor one side like one shoulder is higher than other . I just want to urge that it could be nothing but I think you should see a massage therapist and chiropractor . I am a CNA so I definitely know what it is like to put so much stress on my body too . I love you and your videos keep them coming ❤
