I don’t have a favorite on this album because I love every song is the same. I bought this also in 92 and still play it to this day when I’m feeling low especially it really gets you feeling better and happy I am 62 now and she was my idol in the 80s. I don’t have idols anymore. I just have peoples music that I really like.

I always took 'immaculate collection' as a mere pun on the 'immaculate conception'. Seeing as her name is Madonna and all. Makes sense to me. A play on words sort of thing. It's actually a very smart play on words too. Linking her name and collection to Mary (Madonna) and the immaculate conception.

I bought this album in 1992. I only had a triple decker Pioneer stereo system with huge speakers in my empty living room at that time, it was my first apartment ever. I'd come home from work and I'd blast the neighbors with this amazing record ❤. It was like being in church. Young and innocent, best time of my life . The world was so much better then. Why can't we push rewind. 😊

I remember getting this for Christmas around 16 years old. I lived in a small town in Tennessee. I was a rebel because I was a young man wanting to listen to Madonna!!! LOVE HER STILL. GO MADONNA and thanks for showing that young man he could live life on his own terms.

I was 12 when I got my copy of this album... Even then I knew that I was different.. Madonna was a maverick, an icon, and someone that I looked up to in those early years.. She gave me the the strength I needed to never doubt who I was on the inside and the courage to come out when I was 19... For that I will forever be in her debt. I have a feeling Madonna would just say.. if we were ever to meet "Just be true to yourself.. That's all anyone can ask.. And of course.. Absolutely, no regrets!"

This was my 1st Madonna album too. I think I was about 10 yrs old when I bought it. I had bought 'Like a Prayer' as a single a year or 2 before. But this was the album that really got me into Madonna. I ended up being a huge fan for many many years (I started to listen to her newer music less after Confessions on a Dance Floor'.

@@Paganforge and to think that the Toronto Police Force wanted to arrest Madonna due to the _bed/masturbation_ scene in that show when she preformed "Like a Virgin"... calling her actions being "lude and indecent in public".. Madonna stood her ground and refused to alter her show and threatened to cancel it altogether if the police did not back down... They told her that was her choice to cancel.. Madonna then rightfully told them. "I nor any of my people will be making the announcement. You can go out and tell the audience the show is not happening!" She knew full well that the fans waiting to see her would have rioted.. and rightfully so.. So the police backed down and her show went forward as Madonna had envisioned it!

This sounds so good! Every song on this album is iconic! It’s crazy though because Madonna had enough hits in the 80s to make the Immaculate Collection a 2 disc set without compromising on quality

I will never forget how excited I was when I bought the South African double vinyl Album in November 1990, when in Grade 11. And then to hear those remixes!!! Especially the Shep Pettibone remix of Like a Prayer!!!! In those days, I ate, lived and breathed Madonna. 😂🇿🇦 I eventually replaced the vinyl a few months later when CDs really took over. Still have both the South African vinyl and CD.

I wish I could afford to see Madonna in concert. I’d love to say one day but it won’t ever happen but I’ll always have the music to fall back on! 🥰 this women since she first came out! I remember doing Material Girl in a talent show when I was in 3rd grade, I won too and I forgot to cut the mic on and I was still heard in the back row…my most proudest moment because I could sing one of her most iconic songs 🥰

No one has Madonna's consistency. I can listen to this record in its entirety and on repeat and never get tired of it. But I can never listen to other artists' full albums. This collection is indeed Immaculate.
